weird right?
When you crush a ball, it feels "somewhat" similar to crushing a dunk. The thought of improving and crushing the ball even harder with faster racquet speed & better form, has me addicted.
There are several shots you can hit with dunk-like power:
- serve
- forehand
- backhand
- overhead
The obvious difference is that i'm always up against an opponent (practice partner etc). So when you crush a ball on them, it's kind of like getting an in-game dunk :f
t-dub-esque tennis serve?

I imagine my training will become "mostly lower body dominant" again. I'll need lots of lower body strength for tennis, as well as lots of shoulder/back/hip PREHAB, and bodyweight exercises (upper/lower). So, my training should resemble my dunk days somewhat, just more upper and more prehab to protect the smaller muscles involved with hitting.
One possible biproduct.. my hops will go up: getting leaner, in serious shape, and getting those lifts up. If/when I jump, I'll probably still focus on single leg instead of double leg.
