but i had serious form issues before while you don't. Also, that doesn't mean i wouldn't see that difference with the powerlifts too.

Well I have no form issues because I squat very wide and with the feet pointed pretty much at 45 degrees outside. Penguin shit basically. That allows me enough hip opening to go lower than parallel.

If I were to squat shoudler width... I would have serious form issues :P

So... that's the main reason why I want oly shoes - to allow me to squat narrow and get those quads growing (and also better form etc).
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

Maybe not for you raptor but I just came across this shoe on ebay - BAF Weightlifting Shoes. Reasonably priced at $75 there.

There is a glowing review here. Looks like a great choice for those on a budget.

’m officially labeling the Wei-Rui Warrior Weightlifting Shoe the VS/Pendlay/Rogue KILLER. Seriously, this shoe is that good and cheaper than any of those other brands. Without doubt the Wei-Rui Warrior represents the BEST VALUE in a weightlifting shoe that currently exists on the market.
Goals: Cutting to 6-8% bodyfat

Let us know how they are... I finally got the VS athletics weightlifting shoes and its its a big difference compared to 10lb plates under the heels.
Goal

windmill consistently/ touch top of the square consistently

weight= 193
height= 6'3 1/2
highest touch= top of the square, which is 11'4
