Damn didn't know this existed! Well I've had PRs all summer long and it feels amazing.

The first month I had a crazy PR and I didn't even lift weights consistently, I just bounded. Now I am doing some sofa lunges ( http://t.co/8Asilal) and again two days ago, after a day of heavy jump squats, I got my entire hand above a low rim, probably 9'8 and just two weeks earlier I only had the top 5 inches of my hand above it. But I think the bounding is making a huge difference, hope to see crazy PRs next week

Edit: I'll add I've been training for the 100m, and been working on top speed, and I have good reason to believe that this strengthens my ankles considerably, they are sore after a day of 95-100% effort sprints.

"Performance during stretch-shortening cycle exercise is influenced by the visco-elastic properties of the muscle-tendon units. During stretching of an activated muscle, mechanical energy is absorbed in the tendon structures (tendon and aponeurosis) and this energy can subsequently be re-utilized if shortening of the muscle immediately follows the stretching. According to Biscotti (2000), 72% of the elastic energy restitution action comes from tendons, 28% - from contractile elements of muscles.

Finally hit my head on a backboard. Dunno the exact measurements, it might've hung a little low, but the rim was 9'10-11", so it couldn't've been that low. Regardless, that's probably at least a 37" vert. Definite PR.

At the 200x4 the only thing that was difficult, as I see it, was the eccentric load and control, but otherwise, on the concentric, the bar just looked like 60 kg.

I think, again, that's a sign that you need to do more eccentric/reactive work.
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

Been working my way up too that 100kg mark for a VERY VERY long time now and finally hit it!

Squat:
1 @ 100kg
:personal-record: :personal-record: :personal-record: YAY!!! Finally got that 100kg regular squat! I know its stuff all compared to most but it's such a milestone for me. Man, so excited I got it! Was a huuuuuge grind though, almost died. My mind was trying to psych me out when I unracked it, so I just stood there for ages with it on my back until I knew I wasn't going to pussy out lol, was shaking like shit on my way up and re-racking it, all good though  :D  That was 1.45x bodyweight, so close to 1.5x!!!
