last night:

i was standing in a small apartment full of people, mostly black. everyone was there to watch the howard-morehead state football game. all the pregame festivities were going on on the tv. i didn't know anyone except my friend jesse, who i'd come with. but i can get into pretty much any sporting event so i was standing up near the front with a couple of dudes, including this one guy who was visibly nervous/excited. he was wearing a big horse-skull mask that covered his whole head. i asked who everyone was rooting for but in the middle of the question i realized that we were in DC, and a bunch of people had "H" on their clothes, so obviously everyone was for howard.

jesse was wearing pants with paint intentionally splattered on them and someone made a comment about it. he got kind of bashful about them after that. then he left the apartment and went out into the hall and up the stairs, and after a minute i followed him. to climb to the next level i had to go up the stairs part way, then jump to the railing on the next landing and swing myself over.

that's it.

Last night I dreamed that the Artest formerly known as Ron, meaning Metta World Piss, came to my house and he fouled me. And I was like "oh be careful, you could kill me".

last night i dreamed that the clippers signed me as an undrafted free agent, sometime in the middle of the season. it was a surprise to be picked up because i'm not that great at basketball, but in my first game i played pretty well in limited minutes: i think i was 2/3 from the floor for 4 points (two 15-footers) and a couple of assists, no TOs. no memories of playing defense but presumably i was not great. i'm only 5-11, after all, with short arms.

after the game i went out to a bar but when i got there i realized i didn't have my driver's license, so i couldn't get in. i went home and while i was looking through my mail i realized i hadn't gotten my game check. in fact, i wasn't even sure how much money i had signed for.

later, still in the dream, i saw on facebook that my brother was making really cool, very intricate sculptures out of sculpy, and i decided to try to do the same. it was hard.

the end.

I dream basically every night, usually nightmares...

I dreamed yesterday that a snake with an ostrich head came to bite me.

I was part of a crew that had robbed an 18-wheeler because it had something very valuable stashed in it. In the dream I wasn't even sure what it was. The crew was kind of big, maybe 10-12 guys, and the two leaders were brothers. The marked contents of the truck were firecrackers, and before we got in the truck to escape, one of the brothers lit them inside the truck. We all got in, me up front with the two brothers and the rest of the guys in the body of the truck -- it was hollow and had seats like a city bus, so I guess the storage was just in a shell around the center. I remember thinking that was pretty inefficient.

Eventually we pulled onto some back roads. it was pretty, lots of trees changing to fall colors. Everyone was laughing and in a good mood. a blue van coming at us from the other direction stopped in the middle of the road and a woman got out. I had a premonition and got down as low as I could. She shot at the brother who was driving and the truck swerved and slowed to a stop. The brother was hit but okay, not gonna die. The woman then came closer to the truck. We were all kind of paralyzed, not sure what to do. Obviously she had beef with our stealing whatever the cargo was. She started picking up rocks and throwing the bigger ones at the truck. She wasn't very good at it, though, so there was no threat. We all got out of the truck and then the woman turned into a tiger and started rolling around in the leaves.

The end.

Is there anything better than what the brain randomly decides to create? I don't think so.

What the brain intentionally creates  :P
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up

I don't know i keep getting dreams of floyd mayweather being a leader part of a gang and they want to dominate people or kill them and for some reason they were after me. maybe from a previous dream they still have vengeance for me.

i don't remember exactly but was somethings i remember.

I was in this room with these other guys, like a meeting room and there was a hallway leading from front door to this meeting room and there was this bedroom which could be access from the hallway and from this room.

so floyd comes in with his boys wih guns to get something and to kill me so as they finish checking the bedroom they come towards the meeting room at the same time i sneak into the  bedroom and hide under the bed (best hiding place yet) so another guy comes in the bedroom and tries placing a suitcase under the bed while looking under the bed and sees me gets his gun out i kick him but can't reach so have to get out from the other side get on the bed you comes to standing aims gun at me i go close to kick him not far enough he is about to shoot me i come close and kick in the eye which ends up with me poking his eye and thrusting it in the socket with my big toe and i start running and there is this bath tub in the hallway with a lady and man in it and i go out and people are staring in laughing at the guy, they push me in the bath tub, but it was only the lady in there and the tub was bigger when i was in it, when i see what they were laughing from behind don't know why or who they were, i get out and run out and after i run out i am starting to be chased.there is car which leaving the driveway and for some reason i know them as i run towards them to ask for a lift and get me away and run after as they start driving away and i drop my guns and things i am holding which i wasn't before and then they stop and i don't remember if i got in or not but i think the guy got out to help me and that was it.

strange dream

I dreamed that I had this green spider with a big, venom-filled butt. And whenever I tried to kill him he would grow even bigger. I tried to squeeze his head with a fork and his butt grew bigger. I tried to squeeze his butt and his head grew bigger. And then I realized the spider was Satan himself and was invincible. Then I decided to squeeze on his head some more and his butt popped and he died.

The end.
