my gf and i were at a party in some big rich person's house. she was running for president against donald trump and he was also there, although we didn't interact with him. until we were leaving, that is, when i found him in a bathroom, still wearing a suit but with his hair wet and plastered against his head and brushing his teeth using a bamboo toothbrush with very short bristles and some red powder (instead of toothpaste). he said something about how lovely it was to meet us and thanks for coming. and i said, "well, mr. president, given that my partner is about to debate you on live tv tomorrow night, i hope you get a horrible night's sleep." he looked shocked, like he couldn't believe i'd been so rude. and we left.

:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

that's great lol.

Last night I dreamed that I was watching "No Reservations," a scene in which Anthony Bourdain goes spearfishing. It was visually very dramatic: a throng of men holding spears over their heads and periodically throwing them down into the water, backlit by a brilliant orange-red sunset. All of a sudden, a spear flew from off-screen and hit one of the fisherman in the chest. He went down. Bourdain had been doing some voiceover, which I wasn't paying attention to until he intoned, "Sometimes, when you go spearfishing, you accidentally kill a guy." It was him! He'd killed the guy!

When you are sick such as have a cold or flu. You always seem to have strange dreams such as I had dream of a television advert of tablets (medicinal).

Or before I was thirsty but couldn't get off bed and I had dream. Of furry creatures and when I decided to get out of bed to drink water I had a dream just before the furry creatures stacking on top of one another to help reach the faucet to drink water.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

had insomnia last night so didn't get much sleep. must have gotten some, though, since at one point i woke up with a bona fide cry of terror.

in the dream i'd been having, i was on a bus with my brother and a few other people. we had driven into the middle of a clearing in some woods and were preparing to face an attack by some enemy. (i just saw the new bond movie and there's a scene kind of like this in it.) as they started coming out of the woods, my brother handed me a huge gun and i got out behind the bus door and started shooting. then four women dressed identically in light blue pioneer-style dresses came toward me. i tried to shoot at them but it had no effect, they just surrounded me and got closer and closer until one of them was right up against my neck. that's when i screamed, "ohhhh!" and woke up.

i had a dream where i was dirtbiking home, many miles, through all kinds of woods and out-of-nowhere dirtbike tracks. jumps, climbs, speed, etc

was an epic fun dream. loved it.

i've been dreaming a lot more lately.. i went many months without any dreams. lately i've had quite a few. probably a good sign!

Had a dream i was in a vr adarq forum sort of thing and i had just learned some kind of game changer exercise from kotg and it was for one of the tibia muscles, honestly seemed related to his video where he talks about breaking his vj plateauof 37 and going 42 when he started working tib anterior out. It was the best i had felt from a dream in a long time, felt like my entire understanding of exercise was altered in a positive way, but i dont remember what the exercise was, i think however it was for one of the deeper muscles of the tibia

I remember looking through my anatomy book at some point and thinking: theres like 30 muscles in the tibia and the only ones we work out are the calves and maybe the tib anterior? Like yeah its probably low bang for buck but some of those other muscles could be important too

i was in a sports bar, alone, and struck up a conversation with a young guy at the table next to mine. he started talking about how it was okay to do chemical experiments on kenyans, and to my horror it dawned on me that this was a fascist sports bar. i kept my cool and tried to talk with the guy about why he had such awful beliefs, while planning my exit. next thing i knew i was walking down the street when a convoy of fascist bikers came past. one of the motorcycles was a huge tandem thing, one guy in front and the other in back. there was more after that but i don't remember it.

i was some old european city because i'd qualified for the world chess championship by winning, against all odds, an online tournament to determine the final qualifier. in the dream this made almost as little sense as it would in real life, like i understood that it was basically as if i'd won a particular 100m dash and thereby qualified for the olympic final. there is about as much distance between me and magnus carlsen as between me and noah lyles in their respective disciplines. anyway, i was excited, but also had no familiarity with chess tournaments and so i kept not knowing where to go. the tournament was being held in a very grand old building, and i found myself in a big room with a bunch of old tv sets scattered around, showing pre-tournament coverage. my parents were there, and we found seats on the floor to watch. humpy koneru, the indian woman who's one of the best female players in the world, was being interviewed. after watching for a few minutes, i realized i should probably be where the players were, but i didn't know where that was. i told my parents to wish me luck and walked around until i found someone who was wearing an earpiece and told her that i was supposed to be in the tournament and asked her to help me find out where to go. she led me through a tunnel to a small staircase with an extremely narrow opening at the top - narrow horizontally, not vertically - that was partly blocked by an old piece of porcelain, like a small claw-foot bathtub. i had to push it aside with my head to get through. then i was in a kind of church-like room, and saw the players sitting together on the pews. i thought to myself, this is crazy. it'll be wild if i even get a single draw against these guys. probably i'll lose every game in 20 moves. but that's okay, it'll be a cool story either way.

then i woke up. it was kind of like the, "oh no, i have an exam that i haven't studied for," dream, but without the pressure or anxiety.
