made my season debut in the majors. went 1-4 in the game by beating out an infield hit to first, had a couple of put-outs from somewhere in the infield (SS?). very exciting. i'd played a few games here and there in the previous couple of seasons but mostly stuck around in the minors. after the game a veteran came over to me and was asking me about myself, saying i looked like i had the stuff to stay in the bigs if i kept working hard.

after the game a friend of my ex-gf and i was driving me home and we were talking about her. apparently she was looking to date a guy who was kind of the opposite of me, and the friend named a guy as an example who's kind of a loser. i was flabbergasted. we drove by my ex-gf's house and a big group of people were gathered there. my ex had cut her hair short and dyed it dirty-blond -- not a great look. she could barely make eye contact with me and greeted me with a kind of sullen "hi." i was sad, didn't understand why we couldn't have a more normal interaction. the people were eating papaya and i was offered some but declined so i could get out of there.

fin.

not difficult to see where the inspiration comes from, given that i was watching a major league ballgame last night in the town where my ex lives.

It was a strange dream, I had a dream being in a sprinting competition but it was different rule, first was the qualifying stage where there was 5 people, I had a bad start but won, my dreams i am always either sluggish or sleepy, after the next stage was to do a head to head race, this time I ran it leaning to the side, like that women high jumper who leans to the side before jumping, so I was running leaning side ways and won lol. then I started talking to some people about winning gold and whatever and then end of dream
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up

5 toe to heel steps = 148cm

i dreamt that as i was winding my watch, the knob kept coming out farther and farther, and the back of the watch started to come apart. not fall apart, but kind of expand and rearrange itself like a little transformer. then i couldn't figure out how to push it all back together.

mechanical watches are so cool. i bought an automatic, self-winding watch last year. not a rolex or anything fancy like that but a real swiss watch that keeps the hands sweeping as long as it's on my wrist and moving around. love it. if i were rich i would totally get some boss watches.

i keep forgetting to log this.. anyway, on 11/29/2015 I had this INSANE terrorism dream. long story short:

i'm in some big city, just walking in some building, then everything goes black and my ears are blown out, all I hear is ringing.. shortly after, I see all of these terrorist events happening, but i'm not there. I see terrorist-like shooters shooting at people. the interesting part is, I saw four of these events happen and in each one the people didn't run; instead they tried to bumrush/overwhelm the shooter. In 2/4 of the cases it worked. In the other two cases, people rushing just got annihilated. Instead of assault weapons they had like.. gatling guns. it was fucked.

OK so I had a bunch of horrid dreams lately due to my mental state... I've had a few nights in which I was awake pretty much all night/morning, with just a few short episodes of "sleep".

First dream:

I was in a supermarket, and then suddenly something happens and everybody is running like crazy. I'm like "why is everybody running" and I was starting to get scared, I knew something was happening. Then the walls started to close and iron walls started coming out of the ground like in a bunker, and I ran to jump over them and get out but couldn't. So the walls closed and there was a sound like "bam", like when you start very bright lights, then automatic machine-guns and a huge minigun came from the floor, upwards, with red laser pointers. They were programmed to kill anything that moves in the supermarket, instantly. They didn't move at all, just the lasers were moving, searching for stuff that moves.

So I was caught like in a 1/8 squat position with the knees slightly bent and my back against a wall, like in a sissy squat position. And for some reason, I "knew" that I'll have to wait 13 hours in that position and I was like "that's it, I'm dead, no way I can maintain this position for that long without moving".

And a second dream:

I was at my grandma's house and every clock in her house was moving ~3 times slower. So I was like "oh, so this is why she's been living for so long, there's a higher gravity field here so her age is an effect of General Relativity, now it makes sense".
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

I had a dream last night where I was playing ultimate frisbee on defense and I was covering this guy who was less athletic than me but something about his cutting pattern made it impossible to cover him. He made this strange rectangular cut twice in a row and easily got open both times despite the fact that I didn't really make a mistake on defense.. I don't remember the particulars of it, but I remember thinking in the dream that it had to do with him making the cut directly at me in order to force me to make 180 degree hip turns, but there was more to it. In theory, if you have a really good understanding of your opponent's weaknesses and cutting patterns this could be possible in real life.

Dreams that have some sort of creative idea/practical application hidden in them are the best. Too bad I can't remember the details of the cut.

I was in a bus going to some friends of my mom's from childhood, just me, my mom and the driver. I was sitting in the left row of the bus seating, my mom on the right.

The driver looked drunk, he used to go left and right on the road. He took a right turn, towards some hills that were out of nowhere there. He then got off the road, to the left of the road, and started going into an abyss. I looked at the window to my left, and it was that kind of "emergency escape" big window that you could break and jump out. I told my mom to wait for the perfect time to jump, before the bus would crash off the hill into the abyss, and hit the window with my elbow and jumped. I jumped to the left side of the bus (which was going left) and my mom jumped on the right side.

I rolled around in the snow for a bit and was perfectly fine. Landed next to a hole in the ground, where apparently the driver was rolled around in some white gluing tape, like scotch-tape, and you could only see his head. He was dead. The tape was some kind of spider net, a giant one.

My mom was nowhere to be found, but instead her liver fell into my arms (I can vividly remember this). Then her lungs were 50 cm or so next to her liver. Apparently, that's all that was left of her. I then thought "man this can't be true... how did this happen?!" and thought that maybe the bus went left and it went over my mom with the rear tires, since she jumped at the right side and rolled underneath it.

Then I woke up in terror.

jesus christ, raptor.

had a dream a couple of nights ago where i'd finally gotten confirmation that i was moving to pakistan and my ex and i agreed to meet up before i left. we both were pretty emotional and were telling each other that we couldn't not be together and stuff like that. went back to her house and had sex. then i woke up.

i daydream along those lines, as well, but it's the first time i remember having a genuine sleeping dream about it.
