fair. all 3 of you are also 1 million times more reactive than me, i never really gained anything from a longer runup and arm swing. Just 1-2 steps and power it up was what worked for me.

good point ^^ hehe.

ya i was on avg 7-10" higher on a lob versus a dribble up. reactive++

190711 an update
Raining season arrived
busy work season arrived.
sore knee nagging me for 2 weeks. (especially squat or jump session)
I started to take it easy.
Last 2 sunday Lifting session has not squat in it at all, only DEADlift and high Pull ... which is enough to make my hamstring tired.

Lunch basket session also limited to twice a week at most.  And instead of jumping hard.  I took out the medicine ball at 20lbs. and preform medicine ball throw.  both upward and backward.
some single leg chair jump etc.   tested my a jump here and there doing rim touch.. but thats about it.

getting pressure from work...really have no mood to wake up in the morning and work hard.... this could mean i am getting that burnout feeling from work.

half of 2019 is gone already also.

190719 Another week gone with extreme heat
No lifting
no jump
no plyometric

This whole week, temperature is ultra hot.
Work is busy. weekend is stuck with family travel.

and knee is still crunchy and not fresh... i am guessing damage is not going to heal... or might take long time..
just sore and crunchy waffle sound like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbhjeHnA3Do

may be i should continue to only hi pull/ hang clean/ deadlift and med ball throw.... with some chair jump at most....
No more rim jumping attempt...

this remind me of that graduation song from the 90s
"be kind to your knee, you will miss them when they are gone"

190819 I returned to the squatting.

Kneed feeling better.  Still with crunching sound but  painless.
Squat up toward 2.5 big plate 270lbs  for 5 reps  (first time after 3 weeks rest)

and Ads is up online.

A webpage with short video.. contributed to what I had done for the pass 12 yrs...

190903 Training Resumed Finally
Met This grade 3 girl train every day by herself again.
She shoot around by herself daily.  Often accompanied by her maid.  Today I met her mom and talked to her for a bit.  Everything is self initiated.  So much respect to her.  Being part of the school team, she know what she is doing.  She is practicing 3 steps lay up.  I asked her if this is now allowed as common practice,  she said yes, it is the new rule.

Time is changing, so is basketball...and...

So is my knee.  I think my knee is turning bad finally.  I will have to limit my max effort jump ane focus in more explosive training with less landing/impact.

Only did 3 jumps today.  The rest is chair jump variation and med ball thowing.  45min session.

Believe.

190912 Recovered from Pulled Trap/Shoulder

Sept 1 Sunday, I had an hour of Explosive Hi pull and squat.  My shoulder felt really sore which I suppose is normal since i have not done hipull for long time and that Trap muscle is rarely use.
I continue to train through that soreness doing chair jump, med ball throw and plank the next few days.... and the pain never went away and got serious.   7 days later, I just squat for 20 min and spend the rest of the time stretching myself.

ON my 8th day.. i finally decided to see Chinese Bone doctor... went for 2 days and fixed my muscle on my 3rd day.
So it took about 10 days almost... the pain is still there but much better now.

Today is Thursday and is my first day resumed lunch training (went Sprinting with my girls yesterday)  Only did 4 set of chair jump and 3 sets of Push / reverse push up.

A friend came to visit me at lunch to chi chat.... I find it very hard to do chair jump without focus.
unlike push up or any other lift... this Chair jump require me to fight against gravity in an Extreme Explosive manner.  I am doing a mini hop before jumping on the chair hoping to gain reactive strength.  However....even if i am focusing 100%  I don think i am able to preform to my max....  now that i am chi chating with a frd... i dont think I am trying as HARD as I should...

 :uhhhfacepalm:
or.. may be like Andrew often said... Dont over think and JUST do it..
screw the focus... Just do it. lol

191101  I now have my Own Squat Rack

2 yrs ago, i went to learn Olifting with a coach 1on1 at the park, he brought a set of Olifting barbell and plate and teach me how to lift in the park for months.
Since then.. he got banned from the park and his equipment is stuck at home.

2 weeks ago... a drunker from 2011...called me... after seeing my Commercial on Train Station.  He had not called me for at least 2 to 3 yrs.  I responded... Yo man.. u called the wrong number by mistake...  and he said... NO man.. i am looking for you ...

His told me he got injured his back and had stopped jumping for many yrs.. now he added like 40 lbs on himself.... He saw my Commercial.. and... he want to train again..
It just happen he now live very close to my office... for 1 months....

And...at the same time... I ... took like 2 months off.. due to busy office work.

Seems like.. this is the right time, the right moment with everything aligned.   I had always wanted to set up a gym in my office. and the o-li coach had told me many time.. he would like to put his plate in my office...  But i never took the time to set things up...   With that retired dunker contacting me.  With those Plate and barbell around the corner...

now is the time to kick start things again.
My Gym pass in public Gym expire in 2020 July.
I don think I need to renew any more.

i now have Rack, IWF barbell, bench (flat only), and over 200kg of plates.  with 4 low rims....all under 10 foot....DUnk or DIE?

and i am near 40 yrs old.

191115 My City is Dying
I no longer have the mood to train hard any more.
My city is turning into a war zone.
And there is nothing I can do about it.

I decided to post this... so that... more people around the world can know about what is happening at my home town.
Police had turn in to uncontrolled army going against University students, general public and reporter,  lying everyday on tv to justify their action..
Peaceful protest fail, now violent is going both way.
