man i'm slow, that's less than a second (or just over a second if you take the high end and add the 0.3 for HT) off my FAT PR.

What was your fat pr?  Your 60m was no greater than 8 when i trained w you, so im giessing no worse than 12.5 unless you had a bad race...

A second is a lot!

13.1 in first race, 13.0 in second race (i think).

Talking about times is making me feel like wanting to jump into an All Comers meet this weekend and test my 200. I'll be satisfied with anything below 25 seconds.

Edit- It can be my speed endurance workout :D

Weird.  Maybe nerves got you or maybe you just complete break down at the end of the 100m.  IIRC we ran a good many 60m together and youbwere not super far behind.  I think there was even one where you got a jump on me at the start and I was only able to barely edge you out at the end... Maybe im giving myself too much credit but I believe evem though I wasnt in shape at the time that I was still no worse than low 7s at the time...   Making you mid-high 7s...  I suspect you can run a lot faster than 13.0!

We should compete!  I still havent ran a turn on my surgerically repaired knee... If I get sub 25 it would be a big accomplishment for me as well... might do a rep in flats tomorrow..

Haha. I'll actually be disappointed if I run 25+. I mentioned last week that I was going to do test runs each Saturday so I may as well just test it in races. At least if I pull up sore I'll actually have a time/something to show for it instead of just a training run by myself.

How did your ankle pull up today?

Thanks Adarq.

BODYWEIGHT- 90.5KG

SORENESS-
Calves/Achilles

TRACK-

Warm Up Stretch

1x300m- 47.6 seconds
15 minutes rest
1x300m- 47.4 seconds

I don't know what was wrong with me today. It was just cold and wet (ironic since it was the first day of summer here in Australia). I had to work a couple of hours of overtime today and by the time I got to the track it was almost dark. I really didn't mentally feel like running 300s I just wanted to do 250s. I didn't push myself enough and I was barely tired after both runs and had no lactic acid or anything like that. I'm not going to worry too much about it and will just run tomorrow and do a couple of 200s.

BODYWEIGHT- 90.5KG

SORENESS-
Calves/Achilles- I'm not running anymore until Saturday so that will give them 2 solid days of rest to rejuvenate.

TRACK-

Stretch/Warm Up

1x200m- 28 seconds
7 minutes rest
1x200m- 28 seconds
10 minutes rest-
1x200m- 29.5 seconds

It's the first 3x200m session that I've been able to get all 3 runs below 30 seconds :)

GYM-
I ate after my track session so I was feeling bloated so I only ended up doing squats.

Front Squats-
40x4
60x4
75x4x3
65x4
60x5

Jump Rope-
60x3

I'll go to the gym tomorrow and do chest, pullups and some core work and than have a rest day on Friday before my 200m meet on Saturday.

I'm my own worst enemy. I didn't end up going to the gym yesterday. Instead I ended up going to the pub with a couple of my mates and got sloshed and finished off the night with KFC. I did have a great night but as for weight loss/athletic progress it was horrible. That and I woke up with a hangover and a throat feeling like an ashtray. My work already had its Christmas function last Saturday night so my aim is to make it up to Christmas now without having a single beer or shot. Moderation doesn't work for me but it's Friday night tonight and I'm staying home no matter how many people call me to come out. Same as tomorrow night. I'm off to the gym now!

Dont stress it bro, one day's not going to make or break your hard work of weeks. Just take the next one in stride and keep going.
Training for balance in GPP and SPP.

Thanks maxent!
I felt so shit today. Apart from the KFC last night I had a yiros and McFeast meal as well but it's the beers, which I'm most disappointed with. I'm not going to dwell on it anymore though.

GYM-

Bench-
barx12
60x8
75x5x3

Incline Bench-
12x12
16x12
20x12
24x5x3

Sit Ups-
22x4

Dips-
bwx6x2
bwx3

Chin Ups-
6x3

Assisted Pull Ups-
12,11,10,10

It was a pretty good gym session did everything that I set out to do so can't complain.

I've got a meet tomorrow night for the 200m. It should be fun but I'm not really looking forward to seeing people and being slow and having them be like WTF happened to you!? I'm not going to stress about it though because the main thing is I'm just exercising again and slowly losing weight/trying to live a better lifestyle despite last nights antics.

nice ya just have fun.. In the end it'll be a good tool to motivate you even further to stay focused. My 20:06 5k has been some serious fuel so far :) I've always turned let downs into fuel, that's one thing i've done right in life.

I imagine people on here have asked that about me.. 8| I can't dunk right now and I don't lift like I used to. Some people slip because of injuries (the worst, sucks ;/). I've never let myself slip until the past 3 years. I let myself slip "just like you", except my downfall was letting work dominate my life (which includes eating too much, especially with work colleagues). That ballooned me up to some 207 lb. fatass (for me, 207 is obese) unix nerd whose legs would die running 100 yards, living on mostly < 5 hours sleep, and who felt like he was going to have a heart attack while trying to go to sleep. wtf? The worst period of my life, by far.

We can't change how we are right now, too late. We can change how we perform/feel 6 months from now though.

In terms of healthy lifestyle.. man you are going to thank yourself a few years from now. HEH! Fuck slipping up.

pc man, have fun in that meet!
