Not sore or burnt out, just unable to perform. Just warming up felt heavy. Got pinned by 245.
When I feel like that I know it is time to quit and try again another time.

yup .. it can be rough HEH! having some great workouts/sessions, then having a bunch of sh*t ones.. can be so annoying.. but those great sessions usually follow a period of shitty ones .. the circle of training life.  :ninja:

^^^ word!

9/4/16 Sunday BW=168.2

squat 2x185, 1x225, 1x235, 1x245, 4x240, 7x225, 7x225
deadlift 3x15, 3x225, 5x245, 3x5x255

Got some chalk for the first time in my life. Major life change. Had to call the insurance to see if it was a qualifying event.

It did not make the list, but still ranks tops in my book.

9/5/16 Monday BW=

p90x abs

9/7/16 Wednesday BW=170.0

b-ball 1.0 hours
squat 2x185, 1x225, 1x235, 1x245, 5x255 MSEM
deadlift 3x185, 3x225, 1x245, 1x255, 5x275MSEM

Feeling a bit porky, I am at least 10 pounds over an ideal weight. Played basketball for the first time this year today and it wasn't half bad. My assumption was by this point My lungs would be burning and my legs would be jello. All in all I feel great. My back feels like pre-2013 normal. Deadlift and squat are going along great lately. This is the 9th work out since this summers vacation and progress has been steady. It has been years since I have been in the 170 range, If I can continue to lean out and keep my weight up I might just have something.

9/9/16 Friday BW=168.6

b-ball 1.0 hours

9/10/16 Saturday BW=168.8

squat 2x185, 1x225, 1x235, 1x245, 0x240

9/11/16 Sunday BW=168.2

squat 2x185, 1x225, 1x235, 1x250, 5x245, 4x235, 0x235
deadlift 3x185, 3x225, 5x245, 5x255, 5x255

Saturday I had helped my nephew with installing a metal roof, squats where not happening. Tried again on sunday and 5x245 felt solid then just hit a wall.
235 felt heavier and I got pinned on the 3rd set. Blahhhhhh.

b-ball 1.0 hours

9/14/16 Wednesday BW=170.6
b-ball 1.0 hours
deadlift 3x185, 3x225, 1x245, 1x255, 1x275, 3x5x255

Loving deadlifts lately. It hurts my p-chain so good.

you use straps? i never used straps.. i think holding onto heavy weights is a bit draining regardless.. i remember farmer's walks with heavy db's (or my farmer's walk implements) would really wreck me.. kinda like a "holding on for dear life" feeling. heavy gripper crush attempts are also tough. lmao.

^^^^ no straps. Started using chalk recently and it has helped a lot. I have the grip strength of a school girl.

Farmer's walks would murder me.

fixt

or like high rep shrugs or kroc rows, if you don't want to or don't have space to do the walking part. even hanging from the bar for time.
