3-0 in rec league now. Played well today, picked up a triple double and basically let teammates do the heavy lifting (scoring lol) until about 4 mins left when we turned a 7 point lead into a 94-75 win. Not bad. Got fouled on a dunk attempt and had to lay it in, other than that no real excitement. Leave for the beach Wednesday morning! Totally slacking on lifting this week...havent lifted since Saturday :(

Westbrook would have given zero fucks to a hip check/bump while playing for his dunk and murdered some poor fool anyway lol

Got my cardio in catching the connecting flight out of Charlotte.... First flight got pushed back 2 hours due to weather and we only had a 2 hour 15 minute overlay in Charlotte. Had to wait on the tarmac so we deboarded the first flight at 11:37. Next flight boarded at 11:25 and was wheels up at 11:55. Needless to say I broke a small sweat sprinting through Charlotte Douglas Intl with 2 20lb carry on bags and the wifes purse but we made it.

Current situation: beachside with a rum and coke!

Did you get some light reactive work in?  Cutting/zig-zagging at angles avoiding bumping into people and stuff?  Maybe some reactive jumps over other peoples rolling bags?

you can use more resistance jumping in a sled machine compared to a bb. i build up to 10-15% supramax and jump with that (on machine). the glutes/quads will tighten but make sure you do not round the lower back..

when you get used to moving that very heavy resistance explosively, test your SVJ. also, you will get scratch marks from the pads all over your shoulders - part of the game.  ;D

goodluck

Wait, so you jump on that thing with 10-15% over your 1RM ATG squat?
