BW at 178 this morning, 179 post breakfast/pre workout.
Energy was good, clean breakfast definitely helped there.
-bike+dynamic warmups+jumps
-squats! (Banded as usual)
(Warmups) bar x 5, 135x5, 225x3, 295x1, 345x1.
(Worksets) 295x5, 295x5, 295x5, 295x5. Decided to make a change. Ive been pissed at my lack of depth and progress lately so I reset down 20lbs and made sure everything was ATG not to parallel. Will try to build back up. These were nice and explosive though
-stepups:
120lbs: x10, x10, x10. (Per leg so 30 reps on each side)
-calf raise on leg press:
550lbs: x12, x12, x12. Ok....so these were way easier than last week. I actually looked to see if I had the right weight loaded lol! If they are this easy next session I'll add weight. Side note: calves do look shredded today. Cool.
-hypers :
45lbs : x12, x12, x12. Iso hold at the top kills glutes.
-banded jump 1/4 squat:
135lbs: x5, x5, x5. Listened to KF, backed off and fpcused on explosion and power. Good sets.
Light lunges, core work to finish. Very good session.
