Right. If he's 260 I'm 7 feet tall.
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

Soooo....you're saying last season (2013-14) he weighed more than Dwight Howard? When DHoward is easily bigger and way more shredded? Or that LeBron himself is on record saying he weighed 260 last season in response to Jon Barry claiming he weighed over 270? That just doesn't make sense. Sure Lebron is 6'8-9" and in decent shape but cmon, he'd have to be noticeably chunky or fucking ripped and massive to weigh in much over 260!

Dear God. I weighed 189.7 lbs today. Holy shit. Went and attempted to lift, ab muscle not fully healed. Core exercises flared it up but I managed some leg exercises that didnt require much core stability. Seated calf raises, some ham curls, handful of very light step ups. Im going to attempt to do a few exercises this week core wise and see what happens. Gotta cut this weight off.

Good news is I was still semi bouncy on my warmup jumps.

Decided I'm not going to sit around and get fat, lose my skills and be mad at myself when I come back for sucking ass. So, I went and shot around for an hour to get a sweat going and try to maintain my handle and jumper. Went half speed but wore full sweats over my shorts and cutoff. :) sweat achieved lol!

I'll probably do this and keep doing leg work that isn't core taxing until I feel like I can push it. Just sucks because I have a fucked up love for core work lol

Did light weight upper body stuff this morning. Skipping core work is hard, it does so much good!

2 and a half hours of full court in an old ass gym with no ac=weight loss for sure! Last invite only hoops meet of the summer before the guys head back to school and it was a pretty good one! I played eh for my standards but the lower abdomen felt pretty good so thats a good sign, I was just off a little; rusty on the jumper and slow to react sometimes. Typical short layoff stuff. Felt good tho! Going to try some deadlifts tomorrow!

K, played it smart/easy and skipped Fridays weights and shot around instead in sweats. BW is down to 181-183lbs again pretty consistently (dipped to 178.7lbs after shooting friday, water weight) so I'm typing this in a stationary bike lol! Goal is low mid 170s by the first weekend in September,  so ive got a few weeks.

5 more mins on this damn bike and I can hit the weights! Will update later!

Monday August 18 2014

BW: 181-183lbs
No soreness, good energy, excited to lift but wary of abs.

-Dynamic warmup+jumps (and extra stationary bike time!)

-Squats!
(Warmups) 135x5b, 225x3b, 295x1b (paused!), 345x1b (parallel eh). Don't know why I paused on the 295 but it took a lot out of my 345 lol!
(Workset) 295x5b, 295x5b, 295x5b, 295x5b, 225x8b. Added another set for volume. Quads are singing.

-Hypers
25lb: x10, x10, x10

Paused calf raises on leg press:
500lbs: x10, x10, x10. First two sets were explosive,  3rd set I fatigued. Bah.

Series of lunges and stepups with core work sprinkled in. Cut core work reps in half and used BW on all as opposed to weighted like usual. Abs felt fine, no unusual tightness or tweaks, good sign! Just finished a 30 min stretch and off to ice! Great workout!

Was supposed to go play tonight but got carried away with some stuff on one of the cars and got there 30 mins before the court closed.  :( So...quick 10-15 minute warmup/shoot around and felt pretty good so I had a 15 minute dunk sesh until they closed down. Surprisingly bouncy for weighting in at 181.3lbs today! Got a minute of footage at the end but missed a bunch of dunks trying to go 'too big' lol! Anyway, quick screenshot! This was off an off the glass lob iirc, got up pretty high for that type of lob/runup. REALLY wished I had an extra 30 mins to get fully loose and try a ME jump!

Going to go through the short vid and pull off any nice misses for you guys lol! I'll post them later, now, time to stretch!

Beastly man. always impressed with your vids.

You look pretty lean at 181, whats the scale say when you are performing at PR levels?
5'10"- 185lbs - 45 yrs - reach - 7'6" (90") - 27" SVJ - 30" RVJ - 245# Full squat

Good question... last January when I was getting PR level routinely I was low-mid 170s (I gain 3-4lbs throughout the day on average). Right now I wake up at 180-182 BUT I feel...stronger? Bouncier? My strength levels aren't near what they were then tho so my power:weight should be lower right now. Im assuming that means my movement efficiency has improved.

I'm really excited right now though.  Im going to continue this strength cycle til the end of September and try to cut 5lbs off at the same time. If that happens I *should* set some PRs in early October when I do a 2-3 week explosive block. :D

Friday August 22 2014

BW at 181-183lbs. Decent mental state, slightly tired (got to gym 1:30am lol)

-dynamic warmup/stationary bike+jumps (been spending 10-15 mins on the bike lately, trying to cut a little)

-deadlifts
(warmups) 135x5, 225x3, 295x1, 345x1. Forgot my belt, almost backed off the weight a little but said f it and went for it. Wasn't bad surprisingly, time to add weight!
(workset) 295x5, 295x5, 295x5, 225x8. Grip suffers on 295 sets by the 3rd/4th rep usually. :/

-paused seated calf raises
125lbs: x12, x12.

-ham curls
130lbs: x10, x10.

-BSS
120lbs: x8, x8 each leg.

Did some hurdle hops and BW core work as well, cut some volume out because it was so late (made me sad tho).

Ughhh. Hour and a half skills session at 2am. Got the keys to a local school gym so I can train pretty much whenever now!!! Kick ass. Anyways, low back and hams were sore but I pushed through it and had a good workout. Even managed a handful of dunks at the end completely wore out! Stretch and ice!
