BW 174-176lbs. Bleh, still a few lbs high but acceptable. Good focus/motivation today and body felt well recovered.
-warmup+jumps
-Squats
(non banded to parallel) 225x5 275x1 315x1 365x1 405 x1 405x1. unhappy with first 405, second wasn't much better though. Blah.
(banded quarter squats) 545 x5, x5, x5; 405 x8. 545 is painful for reps, breathing is hard, chest/upper back feels like a house is on them. Reversal on these sucked but they went up ok. Backed off with the 405 set for pure speed, felt ridiculously light after the 545s lol
-paused calf raise
680lbs x7, x7. failed rep 8 for full ROM both sets.
540lbs x12, x12.
-hypers
45lbs x8, x8, x8.
Step ups and lunges to kill quads at the end. 2 sets each.
Back/bicep and a lot of ab/core work as well. Workout was great, felt like blacking out after the second set of quarters but it was fun, hope to keep pushing for another week or so then I'll take some rest as I'm sure I'll be burnt out/fried.
