I don't have a free access to my old gym and, as a matter of facts, I don't want to waste my money coming back there.
I just stopped with karate because I actually had words with my master (a good master, a not so good person).
So I really don't feel any need to have him around me again. I simply can't bear with him. And knowing the man, he just could not leave me in peace.
The other gym I could get to around here simply don't have any bag.

So it would be cool, but it's not going to happen.

i used to use contrast showers alot, and i always took whey protein shakes after working out.. but i havn't taken supplements in about 8 months now.. ive been drinking alot of milk and eating cottage cheese on most nights, and tons of bananas every day.

i usually drink 2 glasses of 2% milk right after working out.

milk does wonders for me, i really shrink/get alot weaker if im not drinking it.

i used to foam roll alot, but i got tired of it.

i don't use contrast showers anymore, though i should.. they definitely did help me.

hah, nah its from hitting the heavy bag out of nowhere for 12 rounds.. can't really prepare the body to hit a heavy bag without hitting a heavy bag.. i hit the big one too, like the 150 lb one, so it is a pretty big impact.

i cant even lift anything with either hand, my thumb muscles are so shot.

forearms/hands so sore..

i feel really good other than my forearms/hands.. my legs feel amazing.. probably from that long walk yesterday, i felt so light training tonight.

walk to bball court:
- did hand coordination drills with the basketball
- totally forgot about these..... on most of my walks im going to do this now.. this will get my shoulders in crazy shape/speed.
- 1.5 miles worth

bball dribbling:
- 2am - 3:30am
- jumps interspersed, hit 10'4-10'5 rvj, and hit 10'1-10'2 a bunch of times (both hands) off 1-2 steps. so i was happy about the two handed touches..
- court was wet though, so i think thats why i held back alot.

walk home:
- did hand coordination drills with the basketball
- totally forgot about these..... on most of my walks im going to do this now.. this will get my shoulders in crazy shape/speed.

worked on this instead of my other vid.. just some short vid, pretty cool titles, thats why i made it i had the idea of the titles coming onto the screen as the bag is hit.

Darq, I am becoming aware I keep sounding like a 12 year old schoolgirl everytime you post a new video on the tube.
moreover, I'm italian, I have no more words to express the awesomeness.
so please, make a crappy video from time to time. stop being so cool for once.
thank you.

adarq, considering you got up to a pretty impressive RVJ (36 inches i believe?) , How much higher do you think you could have reached.  Considering IMO you didnt even come close to maximizing your squat/lower body strength, you obviously werent any where close to peaking...?

i got ~39 for MAX.. I hit ~35-36 in front of adam, on some warmup jumps before it started raining, at this court in sunrise. I hit 36" on vertec also, I just never dropped vid because you couldn't see it move, but I have a pic. I was jumping alot higher months after that, in relation to rim jumps. I didn't have vertec then cause I had quit MSC.

Well, I had to be very careful pushing up my squat because of my lower back injury from way back so.. But I did get 325 for a single or whatever, above parallel, in my squatting style, during my last high frequency block. I'd say I was pretty close to peaked because training was taking alot out of me, if I relaxed on my training my RVJ would drop fast.

Also, i have a sacral spine issue, which gets aggravated.. I technically need surgery on it, some big operation.. So, when my glutes grow like crazy, it aggravates it bad and I can barely sit down etc, this mostly happened when my stepups/lunges were going up like crazy, but it did happen on squat too, such as when i hit 255-265x5 after all my 20 rep squatting sessions. 20 rep squats also f'd it up.

So I had crap I had to work around... :/    I don't think i could have gotten much higher due to the fact that I always had to work around something.. injuries + sacral spine thing really kept me from going at it hardcore.. that's why i did shit like frequency etc, trying to find other ways to peak my power without having to focus on lifting heavy with so much volume.
