163.2 lb

tons of pushups, double leg glute bridges, and unassisted situps

still sore in my hips/calfs from my jog.. tmw i should be able to shadow box tho

pushups:

2/1/2010:  45,45,40,40,48,30,30,22,20 = 320

compare that to 1/30/2010, made some progress, and im on less calories, feel a little shaky, so im happy:

1/30/2010: 40,40,40,40,40,30,25,20,15 = 290

comparison:

1/30/2010: 40,40,40,40,40,30,25,20,15 = 290

2/1/2010:  45,45,40,40,48,30,30,22,20 = 320

pretty similar, but a bit stronger today.

neutral grip pullups throughout the day: 20,19,19,18,18

at night: tons of normal pullups, lost count

safety squat bar 18" stepups:
- 50 total
- 30 total
- 30 total
- 30 total
- 30 total
- 1 min rest in between or so.. need to get to 10 sets of 50
- 30 total takes like 1min 30 seconds
- alternating each legs for each rep

those are real good for building up lactic acid tolerance.. 10 sets of 50 with 1 min rest in between = ten 3 minute rounds.... good stuff.

hmm, hey dude, why are u hitting out with all those reps?

trying to get back in very good condition.. i don't want to go heavy with weight training any time soon, so i have to put in alot more volume to achieve strength gains.. but with that volume im also improving my strength endurance pretty good, feeling in much better shape.

i strained my left oblique shadow boxing tho, didn't see that one coming.. i guess it was because of all that time off.. it's the oblique insertion so doesn't feel too great.. i'll see tonight.

peace!

- 40
- 40
- 30
- 35
- 40
- progress since last session, in total reps and reps per set

bw 164

shadow boxing: 8 rounds
- best ive done since coming back, great energy, throwing very fast, big combos, lots of jabs/defense

neutral grip pullups: BW + 10 lb
- 15,12,8
- this is good, body definitely wasn't expecting the added 10lb

ssbar 18" stepups:
- reduced the rest intervals to 30s, so i kept each set at 20 reps
- 9 sets of 20, last set was 30

bball dribbling:
- 1.5 hours
- i pumped the ball up but it ended up being a bit too flat, sucked, but still managed to get a good workout in

pushups on pushup handles:
- going to be doing most of my pushups like this from now on, can get deeper.
- not counting yet...
