Well then why not do hundreds of bodyweight full squats?

you could, i don't get good depth on bodyweight squats though and they are too easy.. with lunges i get very deep and basically ADA, freefalling into that deep position.

i do hundreds of pushups and it makes my chest stronger, i do tons of pullups/dips but they aren't on that level, if i ever got them to my pushup level i'd be a freak.

peace

It's interesting because (again I'm mentioning this) back in the day I used to do sets of 50 bodyweight squats. Coincidentally or not, I could "load" much better back then (I could feel the muscles compress and release force more then than just a rigid body).
Current PR status:

All time squat: 165 kg/Old age squat: 130 kg
All time deadlift: 184 kg/Old age deadlift: 140 kg
All time bench: 85 kg/Old age bench: 70kgx5reps
All time hip thrust (same as old age hip thrust): 160kgx5reps

Ive tried some semi high rep lunges (200-300 reps). Its an amazing feeling. Thats seriously some underrated training. And it hurts... mmm.

nice, maybe u should experiment with that some time again.. just incorporate, prior to actual squatting etc.. so you're doing both.

shock? care to elaborate?

what LBSS said, it's 4x10 depth jumps from around 30" box height, something that people shouldn't do unless they've been training for a long while :)

check out my "Instant RFD Part 1" article in blog section, it goes over a few of my shock experiments.

peace !
just realized that I do depth drops without knowing its an exercise...I just found out randomly, and do ~2 before max VJ

I want your traps... and pecs. That's the only thing making me look skinny. Oh and my arms. Pretty much my whole upper body just looks like a lanky white boy.

some pics from tonight, went bad, i mean, it rained everywhere so i had to goto the outdoor roof'd court, which is always packed, so i had to get jumps in after a game and then while the game was going on eh... bleh.. other court had some young kid bball practice going on, then from 8:45 to 9pm (lights off) they just stood there on the court giving their little motivational speeches, while other people could have been using the court.. bums.

hit my head on that backboard pad pretty hard on this first pic..

bad reach pic, i mean, i just walked by trying to reach up, lameness.

dno, bottom of backboard pad is prolly < 9', like 8'10" or something, i imagine the actual bottom of that backboard is 9' though, the pad is added inches.. definitely above the pad tho.

hehe

not yet unfortunately hah..

bad jumping today though, when it rains & then i have to jump there, everything gets fubar'd.
