9'11 rim.. first pic is a miss, though i have 2 nice lob makes, and some dribble up two hand/one handers... i'm going to do probably two more sessions before i drop a video.. next session i want to goto that outdoor court with a roof, then another outdoor session at a different court, and actually, i'd like to try and get some dunks in on an indoor gym.. if i can get tat same deal, $5 to jump inside that la fitness gym ill do that.. gotta go around 9:15pm to try and make that deal work.

10/22/2010

bw = 150
soreness = quads/hamstrings (bad)
aches/injuries = none
fatigue = medium

man my quads were toast wtf

workout: dunk session
- got up pretty good, pics above
- landed 2 dribble up one handers and two dribble up two handers, 2 self lobs
- glute bridges: 5 x 50 ez work for tomorrow
- calf raises: 5 x 30 ez work for tomorrow

sooo.. my dad was going out tomorrow night that's why i made sure to dunk tonight, but after, i find out he's not going so, i might actually try and dunk tomorrow too.. i havn't done back to back jump/dunk sessions in a while, last time i did, 2nd session sucked bad.. but i was pretty inhibited today so, hopefully tomorrow my legs feel good..

i think tomorrow i'll be < 150 when i wakeup.

tried editing some dunk scene for my vid tonight, pretty annoyed, since i can't use the music i've wanted to use for so long, because it'll get flagged, i have to find other stuff.. can't find anything.. well i found something but it doesn't fit the session.

peace

Yeah you can bro. You have to edit the music in someway so that it differs from the original..

the sound of the ball agaisnt the ground, the sound of the dunk, the sound of the rim getting raped. Thats the only music you need.

ok so, this morning has been rough so far, woke up twice to find my grandpa lying on the ground.. first time he explained how he called me for so long but couldn't wait any longer so he tried to goto the bathroom by himself.. i knew it was bullshit :) so 4 hours later i hear a huge thud, come out, there he is again, this time worse with a bloody head/small lump.. he's fine but i knew he was trying to 'escape' (his words), he feels like he can do things by himself but he can't stand/walk without us (me/my dad) holding him up.. so anyway, after this second fall it seems like it sunk in that he can't be doing that shit, i mean it's been 2 years since he's been able to do it. he'll forget months from now and do that dumb shit again, i just explained to him that if he broke his hip, life would truly be hell.

anyway i video taped the second incident to get to the bottom of it, on video, in case teh po-po ended up being involved.. might upload it to youtube later lololol.

peace

i wish i could, but, i got two strikes mang.. heh.. i can use some really contorted dubsteps etc.. but i guess it's time to make my own shit or use some really obscure shit.

and the quote of the week goes to............................ GUGA

ya man im with you on that.. i like just the pure sounds of training/performing too, but i guess that's for the raw footage, when i put together actual mixes, music does help when it's on point, especially if i mix the footage to the music properly.. for 99% of the people viewing, it gives them a 'heightened experience'..

but ya i love just the raw footage, especially of olympic training halls for oly lifting etc..

peace man

so, i dropped off pretty quick again, after like 10 max jumps.. but i hit some good dunks and had some nice jumps.. im surprised, my timing was all off on lobs so i was frustrated plus it was windy, which messed my lobs up also.. glutes were sore all day today, quads still sore too.. man big things are coming i know it..

http://www.adarq.org/forum/adarq-org-special-content/basketball-drills

going to upload a few dribbling clips from tomorrow too (not related to basketball-drills thread, taking 2 hours to render the vid), first time dribbling hard in zoom waffles, felt amazing.. loved it.. havn't been dribbling so i screwed up more than normal but i have to stay consistent, i could drop some fun stuff with in-game handles/dribbling videos... i want to drop a 10 min vid just swagging out dribbling, no messups ;d .. my movement seemed very good/explosive/stiff, i was happy with it.

10/23/2010

BW = 149.4 <-- i took a pic on my cam for fun, of teh scale
soreness = quads/glutes, mostly glutes, sheeeeit
aches/injuries = felt pretty good
fatigue = woke up 2pm, had a bad sleep, felt tired by 3pm, slept from 3:30 to 7pm, went to dunk at 8:30pm.. fatigue was way less when i woke up at 7pm, still felt sleepy until i got warmed up tho then i felt good

workout #1: dunks
- check pics abuv ^^^
- felt good initally, dropped off after like 10 jumps.. wind messed alot of my lobs up.. landed some nasty dunks, didnt think they came out good until i checked out vid
- saving vid of a few more sessions then going to put it in a mix or something.. so im saving this footage and last session etc.

workout #2:
- dips: 2, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 8, 8, 8, 8, 5,
- half squat @ 148 lb: 225, 235, 235, 235, 235, 235,
- calf raise: 45 lb bar @ 30,30,30,30,30

squatting felt weak, glutes /quads just too sore.. good sign though, im strong right now considering.. hah

ok peace!!!!!

This one looks soooooooooo high. Look where your head is!!!!!!  :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

thanks man, ya i remember that jump specifically.. i had to jump backwards to try and stay really vertical to get the lob, then realized i havn't been thinking of jumping backwards which really helps me.. i remember that jump koz it felt damn high even though i screwed up the dunk attempt with the bad lob.

peace!@$!@

some random dribbling from tonight too, i need to stay consistent on this for at least 1 week so i can drop a cool video.. lol i barely dribble, eventually i could drop some really cool shit if i just stuck with it.. i got so many weird transitions/movements that people don't often see.. more like dancing with a ball... alot of room for improvement this is just some sub-optimal footage for the time being, just want to see how it looked, rendered.
