very proud of myself:

2022-01-16:
- 6 hour mow
- 4 acres or so .. weed wacker + zero turn
- doing everything myself now, love it

2021-01-18:
- removed the cowbar off the front of my truck!!
- took 3 hours or so, lots of rusted/stripped bolts
- had my dad on the phone annoying me but giving me support for 2 hours or so, it was real fun hah
- it was funny when it finally dropped, we both were all excited lmao
- farm life

automotive stuff is also a very good workout.. lots of grip/hands/forearms for sure, but even core etc. doing all kinds of stuff when you're at war w/ bolts lmao.

love it

I def understand what you are talking about. I had a car where the brake line was rusted and the the fuel injectors had to be replaced.

The bolts to remove the engine head attached by screws in tight places where hands can't fit and you have to get to it from under, full of scars and scratches but so good when you get it out. Then put it back once finished.

So I had to remove the break line especially from the master cylinder those bolt are mofo's. But I found about these twist groove sockets which work amazing on rusted bolts, when you twist it while attached it grips the head the tighter you rotate it and comes off, def check it out. Called twist sockets.

Learned a lot about the braking system of a car from the cylinder to the tires, bleeding brakes, etc. So fun.
Warm up drills
   - a walk, b skip quick powerful switch (heel to hams focus), a runs, dribbles small to big to run, straight leg to runs (force, reflex, go up/forward). force to hit the ground before it hits the ground knee/hip is at 90 degrees.
   - acceleration: low heel recovery, shin angle low, drive legs back before hitting the ground and drive thighs/knee forward not up
-------------------------------------------------------------
Measuring reminder:
5 toe to heel steps = 148cm
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Strength comes from the legs, Power comes from the torso and Speed comes from the arm. Al Vermeil
Arm also aids the legs in driving it down with power - seifullaah73

yeah man it's mad fun.

hoping it's a long lasting obsession hah.

I BOUGHT a 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger Lariat Supercab !!!!!!!!!

my obsession with buying a classic truck is now over .. it's now transitioned in how to get it running strong and restoring it.

it'll be a lot of work. having so much fun already. I had to figure out how to get the throttle not to stick in order to drive it onto my property .. so literally day 1 i'm learning stuff.

been giving it an initial cleanup and trying to figure out why my carb is leaking fuel. need to check all fluids this weekend and give it an oil change.. hah.

for this classic truck, i plan to do 99.9% of things myself. plan is to restore this thing to beauty and learn a fu*kton, immerse myself in it.

the first night i saw it and bought it (144 mi from home, not sure how i was gonna get it back):

when it finally got towed home and i had to figure out how to get it to drive onto my property:

loving it.. :D

also.. been trying to figure out how to get 40's on my fun truck .. pretty sure i'll be able to do it soon. going to be hilariously fun. hahah.

You are getting deep in the truck game!

I had a got a one owner 1968 f250 camper special in 2WD. Had all the dealer brochures and 390 V8 ran like a top. Just needed brakes and some TLC. Ended up selling it for like $400. Now every time I see ford trucks of that vintage it makes me kick myself.

Not as good of a story as the old timers that sold Shelby cobras and Yanko Camaros for chips, but gives me a little taste.

it's crazy how slow i am right now. lmao.

im in ok shape though im just running mad slow. kinda weird lol.

my 40" tires came in for my truck............... they are like, really big. jaja.

https://imgur.com/a/G1er68Z

so many folks telling me not to do it, like they told me not to lift it etc and all that. it's so lame. can't wait to try and put them on. i don't even know if they will fit... lol. if they don't fit, i'll make em` fit, most likely. who knows.

have fun.

and i'll finally have legit af 40" vert now.. that's why i couldn't go less than 40" on these tires. just had to do it for the irony.

;d
