wasnt into the race at all.

ran 5:40 first mile, then cramped & jogged until the end and had a massive kick-race with someone else (h.s. xc kid) who also cramped. we cranked it so hard was hilarious. he said after: "never battled anyone that fast ever, not even in xc. that kick was so fast" .. hah. we went under 4:00 min/mi LMFAO. was a pretty epic kick-race. he got me at the end. probably 250-300m of all out kick. LMFAO.

so that was fun at least.

going to start squatting again! high rep/volume.

loving the physique stuff.. need to beef the legs up. and need the squat stimulation for physique life.

small dirtbike accident, 11 stitches in my thigh! lol that happened fast. i'm just too crazy .. im going to get back on it once the stitches are out but, going to keep it very calm for like 6 months.

i gunned it out of a turn, on my property, lost control of it, and kinda spinned out and fell on top of it .. so like picture that at 30 mph.

peg went into my thigh about an inch.... blood squirting everywhere..... got in my car, put pressure on it, and gunned it to the ER.

was so worried it was femoral artery.. turns out it wasn't, but it was close.

i really lucked out... im such an idiot.

Heal well man. And be careful, lol.
Target training paces (min/km), calculated from 5K PR 22:49 :
Easy run : 5:48
Tempo run : 4:50
VO2-max run :4:21
Speed form run : 4:02

---

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

aside from my thigh puncture, these scrapes on my knees/hips, and all the inflam.. can barely move.

tomorrow im going to get a new adjustable db, some plates and a bench -> for an in home gym. not as ez to go outside here at night because of the mosquitos.

might get a rack eventually. going to start with just the db tho.. ie single arm ohp/bench/rows.

first run back since the dirtbike accident. surprised af that i could even run a mile, let alone 6:33 lol. :wowthatwasnutswtf:

i asked my friend (not-gf) to run a mile and see if i could beat it with my first run back. she ran 8:34. honestly didn't think i would beat that.. LOL. she's trying to go sub8, could def do it easily if she was a bit more consistent.
