bw = 162
soreness = alot of hamstring soreness
aches/injuries = right big toe/forefoot pad (same as last few weeks), right shoulder (during squats it bugs out pretty bad now, rotator cuff, external)

workout:
- 400's x 3
- jumps: surprisingly good considering my soreness (~30" off drop step), only off drop step, LR and RL, big toe hurt on a few jumps, left heel on one jump
- 400's x 7

toast after the 4th 400.. just tempo'd them up from then on.

happy with jumps.. i'll probably start trying to jump every day again.. submax or max, just get jumps in.. i dont feel as good as when i was jumping every night a month+ ago.. need to get back to that, but have to be careful with heel/bigtoe.... anyway, i had alot of pop considering how sore i am/how much running ive been doing, the 400's/200's really increasing my power.

tmw is ~60m sprints, 10x.. i'll probably only run a few max then run the rest under max.

peace

bw = 160
soreness = hamstrings
aches/injuries = feet, top of left foot / right big toe area

workout:
- 200's x 2, felt great, going to a basketball court
- jumps : about 10 LR and 10 RL before lights turned off.. some nice jumps
- 200's x 4, felt great still
- .75 mile run: 4:50... trying to pace it a bit and find out what i could run for say 3 miles.. .75 mile stops at a traffic light, tons of traffic so i couldn't keep running even if i wanted to.

might run a 5k in september.. checking prices, it's like $25-$35 to run.. hey guess what, fuck that.. i'll just show up and run a few myself without paying, though i won't have official results, it'll still be a nice run.. shit is at 7am though guhhhhhh!

peace

Love reading what you're up to man because I know you get results. Noticed you prescribe routines for some of the guys as well. Pretty stand up of you. Haven't updated my log at TVS in ages, might start a new one here implementing your principles from The Single Leg Jumpers handbook. All the best with the training anyways. End of E-props given haha.

thanks man.. i'm after a wide variety of results right now so my training is pretty nutty, but it's going good.

thanks again mang.. appreciate it.. ya i just want more people to make more progress on these forums.. unfortunately most people who take the 'free coaching advise' will just quit anyway, but it's all good, at least i tried lol.

will do another workout later, wanted to do it after running but.... lightning and pouring.

8/8/2010

bw = 161 (noticeably leaner though)
soreness: hamstrings
aches/injuries: left ham tendon a little

workout #1: pouring
- very slow 400's x 5
- 2 mile run

relying completely on fat metabolism today.. legs felt dead as fawk.

i felt so fast last night, but so slow this morning, seems completely due to diet imo.. didn't eat much after last night's training, then i wake up only have a cup of milk and do this workout.. if i had saved it for tonight and eaten a few small meals/bananas i'd have been fine i bet.. so that's cool whatever.

looking noticeably leaner again.. can't wait to get my bodyweight way down again ;D

tonight i'm doing squat singles and some BW upper.. squat singles will probably be with 225.

peace

workout #1 etc above ^^

workout #2:

- squat: 225 x 1 - ez
- squat: 185 @ 3 x 5 - ez
- form was pretty good went just above parallel, got lots of glute/ham

- neutral grip pullups: BW @ 2 x 6, just got in some reps didn't feel like doing many though

- natural ghr: BW @ 3 x 5
- felt very good, hamstrings feeling strong

in a month or so i'd like to be able to do 225 @ 3 x 5, at 150 lb.

peace

next squat session will probably be wednesday or something, will probably do 155 @ 4 x 12 or something.

peace
