tennis!
- 2 hours practice
- practiced lefty..
- going to work on being able to strike with either hand  :ibjumping:
- i'm naturally a lefty but play sports righty, so.. i was able to achieve it with basketball -> went pretty good for the first time with tennis.. i think the left backhand is already the same as my right backhand.. left forehand needs work though.

ok uh.. i might be addicted to tennis.

nice :f I ordered some. Should arrive Tuesday! One of the pairs is that "memory foam" substance. Don't think i've ever had shoes with that kind of sole. Curious to see if they feel any different.

if my hand doesn't get better by this weekend, i might have to rest it an entire week.. it doesn't hurt much at all when i'm hitting, but, around the house doing stuff, it can get painful as fuck.. feels like a deep strain or some kind of bone bruise.

lame.

tennis:

tennis:
- 2 hr

09/21/2015

Session A: Afternoon
tennis:
- 1 hr
- "20 drill: 1 hr"

Session B: Evening

single arm db bench press:
- 70 lb. @ L=5, R=10
- these done with speed.. pretty fast, felt good

single arm db row:
- 70 lb. @ L=10, R=10
- very fast

sbar deep squat:
- 165 lb. @ 1 x 5
- 185 lb. @ 1 x 5
- felt good

single arm db curl:
- 50 lb. @ L=5, R=5

wanted to actually go a little heavier on each exercise but, soooo many mosquitos.. had to workout quick.

havn't lifted in a while, but felt strong.. going to drop the volume, increase the frequency.. :) now that i'm working on a skill sport, can't be getting too 'fatigued/sore' from lifting.

Hey Andrew,

I was watching some of the videos you have up on youtube and was wondering what video editing program you used?  And whatever it was, how is it?  Easy to learn?

Thanks

Hey Merrick, I used Adobe After Effects (AE). It was pretty difficult to learn tbh. I had no experience with photoshop etc. If you have experience with other adobe products, then you would be able to pick it up. I don't have much to compare to, other than iMovie/Final Cut Pro.. compared to those, AE is SICK. It was definitely far more fun & interesting. So much you can do with that software. I only scratched the surface with it, i never used it even close to its actual potential.

hope that helps!

1982-2005, 2009-2012, ?

2005 is when I stopped doing computer security "stuff" & basketball. 2012 is when I stopped dunking. it almost feels like two deaths. If that makes any sense of it.. :f

Both of those phases felt good, like I was really just enjoying what I was doing & expressing myself. After the last few years, I feel like a different person.. I'm trying to remove alot of stuff from my plate, free up my mind. Would be nice to "get back" come 2016, and have no more deaths until 2050.

45 lb bar: 2x

felt great, but also felt dead.. got shaky legs and such. that's unacceptable! will be doing more lactic acid training :) i honestly feel like doing some full sessions of just as much light full-rom bar work as i can, lots of squatting.. i'd like to also mix in overhead squats. need to get that work capacity/anaerobic conditioning back up :f

i'm probably going to do a usta tennis tournament at the end of October.. i'll probably get wrecked but who cares, will be fun. :F
