hilarious that im happy about this jump..
- 1 hour sleep
- hamstrings basically cramping
- legs felt jiggly
- no lifting anymore
- it was about 31" or so, that would be like the best ever without lifting

lol.. cracks me up, but im happy. i didn't check the rest of the jumps, but this was definitely one of the best ones, i slammed it in and it flew out.. hah

<------- laughing.

Very good pic man!
Id say its ~32'' , looks like ~9'' above, so 10'9'' - 8'1'' = 32''.
Hey , 32'' with no lifting + anti-explosive training for months is no joke , you know it...
:D
Target training paces (min/km), calculated from 5K PR 22:49 :
Easy run : 5:48
Tempo run : 4:50
VO2-max run :4:21
Speed form run : 4:02

---

it's the biggest trick in the run game.. go slow to go fast. it doesn't make sense until it smacks you in the face and you're like ....... wtf?

ya i was being conservative, i think it's 32 also!

ya man, no lifting 32" for me is ridiculous......... it's all this damn sprinting and shit..... it's making my legs feel very strong....

the caffeine definitely helped too man, that shit gets me up.. i weighed like 165 too before the dunk session, which was mostly food left in my stomach since i didnt sleep and EXCRETE it looool.. so if i was 158-160 i might have had 33 or so, i just got re-motivated.. haha

peace man

ya can't wait.. should be in the next week or so.. I wanted to dunk with adam from TVS on monday or tuesday, if we do that ill definitely get a throw down. I'd like to see him throw down some dunks too.

i'd lose some water weight/food weight for that and caff up good, i'd definitely be getting 33" at least.

caffeine does wonders.. that's my new lifting, caff up 1-2x/week and jump while being dehydrated after 5 poops. new training method established

~3 hours of bball stuff + jump rope speed drills:
- did a few jumps, legs were dead so i just went light, got 10'3-10'4
- did lots of dribbling/layups/jumper's, each hand

peace

Hey darq, the last 2 days ive had to do alot of max effort jumps, i feel fine in my hams/glutes/quads, its just my calves/achilles are killing me, normally i dont get sore in this are. When you have bad/torn/fatigued achilles/calves would would you do to aid recover...walking? stretching? heat/ice?....

ice for sure, but also, you might need to tweak some variables around so that you don't get achilles aches, you definitely don't want those.. i fought through them alot, ended up becoming a really annoying issue.. it's a sign you are really stressing those plantar flexors/ankles hard, which is good, but you're stressing them a bit TOO hard.. it's probably from the depth jumps, the achilles gets loaded hardcore during DJ's.

I always liked this setup. I used to do it with crunches with a partner. Your rest was the time it took for your partner to do his. Very cool and intense.

ya it was good, my shoulder is feeling weird so i need to get back on my upper back work, i think i've been neglecting it.. i can do lat/upper back work daily basically, and feel good.. i can do bar dips like every 4th day or so, i use my shoulders so much that it really stresses them out.. dips is what fatigue one of my rotator cuff muscles so, i need to shy away from those currently and focus on pullups, guh !!!!!

got to keep my lats/upper back strong while not overstressing internal rotation/chest/ant delts.

Pullups are tough. I dont like them much. Mostly because Im so bad at them.  ;D

But no doubt theyre good. I need them.

hey darqman, because ill only be doing my UB circuit 1/2 a week, do you think ill be able to add anathor chest exercise (inlcine db press/ pushups/ oxplosive pushups) and another shoulder exercise (lateral raises/ upright row)? without creating a back imbalance, i cold just add sets of 2/3/4 after my complexes as "finisher" exersices....
Current highest touch = 11'4" (37"-38")
Squat = 140kg x5
             160KgX1
Weight = 97kg
