Power clean is from the floor bro. Like im telling you, no matter what you say... You're wrong. Just like a Power squat clean is from the floor then squatted. Hang clean is no more than 90 degree knee bend. Hang squat clean is when you squat it dumb shit. Jesus. I was making a point that his vid doesn't belong in the power clean section because it is not a power clean. It is a hang clean.

There is no such thing as a power squat clean. Power refers to catching with the hips above parallel. Catching with the hips below parallel is just a clean (as in clean and jerk).

wow tychver, u really like feeding the troll xD

Sure, I guess im a troll.

Oh this guy looks like a pretty avid squatter... Are his knees even close to passed his toes? No, I know I can do a free squat without my knees coming close to passing my toes. A "squat" requires your knees to be directly above your toes to reap ANY explosive or reactive benefits.

And I KNOW he did a Hang Clean... BUT the category says POWER CLEAN. Not Hang Clean. 2 completely different lifts. Therefore his lift doesn't count as it wasn't from the floor. Jeez, I never dissed his lift. It was a good one, just not a power clean.

You just confirmed my point. I KNOW he did a hang clean. But a hang clean does not count as a full power clean. As power clean stems from the floor, not the hang. THANK YOU.

What the fuck is a "Hang Power Clean?" You either do a Hang Clean, or a Power Clean. It's not one thing. A Hang Clean is pretty much half of a power clean.

I never said he didn't fully clean it. I said it wasn't a power clean AKA clean from the floor.

Knees over toes is not absolutely fine. Where'd you get the pic? A elementary health ed. book?

Reactive is what you make of it... "Adarq.org - Dedicated to athletic performance enhancement," ATHLETIC being the key word. No "athletic" positon consists of your ass being lower than your knees, or your knees past your toes. Yes you're right, free squats do strengthen your legs. BUT the risks FAR outweigh the benefits. I'd rather have my knees intact long enough to enjoy the benefits of squatting.

When's the last time you saw a BodyBuilder run the 40? They can't because their joints are destroyed from free squats. (Maybe some roids too.)

This site doesn't know the difference between a Hang Clean and a Power Clean.

Oh and in Flander's Power Clean video, his lift doesn't count because he did a "Hang Clean." A Power Clean is from the floor. Thank you.

No , knees are NEVER in front off toes , especially in jumping!

Thank you for making my point. Watch Adarq's Half Squat vid... Every single time his knees pass his toes. Like I said.

Well yeah, because the box squat removes like 100% of the reactive component of the squat, and as an athlete you're not glad it does that.

You're wrong. When jumping, when does your ass lower beyond your knees? If you jump like that, kill yourself now. Box squats (Parallel) are a 100%  reactive and explosive movement. Anyone who plays sports (other than bodybuilding) should veer away from Free Squats (Ass to grass).

Gonna go ahead and call out Adarq on his half squats. How your knees feel bro?  :o For someone who claims to be so knowladgeable on explosive movements that's pretty bad; When in any athletic position do your knees ever cross in front of your toes?
