some more found poetry for y'all. i'm reading the mirror and the light and once in a while the author, hilary mantel, just lets it rip.

here's a bit i came across just now, with breaks added every 10 (sometimes 11) syllables and the verses separated when it shifts from third to second/first person. just to see how it looks in verse form. she rules extremely hard at writing so it's a bit of a cheat to call this found poetry, but i saw someone do it with a passage from the prequel to this book, bring up the bodies, and i got a kick out of it then. so figured i'd do the same once in a while.

basin of alabaster, cool in the
heat of the Florentine afternoon.

UPDATE:
HOLY mother of Lord, i just read the news... today 65 new case 

total Infection case went up to 518 nos.

solid harvest this week. might not need to tap into my frozen store-bought ones.

goal is to eventually grow enough so that i could survive entirely on my own farming (other than buying rice/pasta/orange juice/bananas). eventually i need banana growth. i have like 8 banana plants but going to take a year for them to produce bananas. fuuu*k.

when i get my land, i need a steady stream of:
- peppers
- tomatoes
- oranges
- grape fruit
- bananas
- avocados (this one not likely for a long time)
- peas/beans

then just buy rice/pasta etc.

these banana peppers have been a very pleasant surprise, they really produce!

compounding covid-19 isolation and stress, my relationship appears to be in the process of ending.

Aaaaaand , as of yesterday we are locked down. Solo running is still allowed though (but you need ID and a statement of where you live and why you are out ).
