there's always that weird side to it too, the "big data crunching" that some people use or "dark methods":

- What if a star player performs worse with a certain high relative humidity?
- You have inside info that he just found out his GF is cheating on him?
- You know someone who has hacked RWB's private facebook/email and he tips you off to some potential red flags, or you correlate his statlines to how often (and when) he posts on FB
- Data showing GSW performs like crap the first game of the season if it's a Monday, 90% of the time

i'm just throwing out some nonsense .. but stuff like that can allow you to need less luck.. at that point though, you're a professional big data gambler - and you're probably rich as FU*K, lol.

lol I wish I had the tools to create an algorithim.... maybe we should work together to build one that is better than haralabos voulgaris... the dude's not even a bball player and he built and a complicated algorithm that is world class today in BBALL.....

hah cool, never heard of him. going to check out a few stories:

nice thanks!

fml. haven't worked out for the last 3 days or so because i've been sick.

did some dips/pullups tonight, and afterwards my right elbow (old tennis elbow injury) is flaring up like crazy.. dno, just odd. i'll avoid dips for a while - i think i'll be fine with pullups/pushups.

just crazy how, after resting for several days, it flares up like crazy.. why didn't it flare up when I was doing dips several days in a row, for several weeks? wtf?

will journal later.

Progress Journals & Experimental Routines / Re: THE DREAM JOURNAL
« on: March 07, 2017, 05:06:31 am »
had a deeply fucked up dream last night.

my brothers and i found out that our dad was planning to kill us, and that he was in a big brick house preparing to do it. so my brother lincoln got a few revolvers and we went to get him first. we snuck into the house and split up. i was going room by room doing that thing you see people do in movies when i looked down some stairs into the basement and saw him walking around. he had some materials with him that made it clear he was planning to trap and torture us down there. he didn't see me. somehow i knew he would come up to the kitchen so i went in there and pointed my gun at the door. my heart was in my throat.

as soon as he walked in, i yelled, "freeze! don't move!" and he stopped. then he laughed and said, "well, guess you got me." i pointed my gun at him and he just kept laughing. then i pulled the trigger and it just clicked over to the next chamber. lincoln hadn't loaded the gun! i kept clicking and my dad kept laughing, very relaxed, until finally the last chamber had a bullet in it and i shot him right in the middle of the forehead. and then i burst into tears, sobbing uncontrollably with grief and relief.

a little while later he was alive again, but we still had him captured. he was still laughing and relaxed, and i was just so confused and anguished, asking him over and over why he wanted to kill us, was he this person all along, a psychopath? [it bears mentioning here that in real life i love my dad and have a wonderful relationship with him.] and he just sneered. at one point he stripped down to his underwear and put on a bright red dress and walked around the house, continuing to blow off my questions. my phone buzzed and when i pulled it out, a lot of the app icons were thumbnails of calvin and hobbes comics. i clicked on one and it brought up a strip that had the dad in it. since i was a little kid i've thought that calvin's dad might as well be a caricature of my dad: skinny, round glasses, big nose, bald, ride bikes and hate drivers, think chores build character. as soon as i saw the strip i burst into tears again.

then i woke up.

wow that's pretty twisted.

I started disliking him every time he gets a controversial win. He is good but sometimes he gets undeserved win so I was happy with this.

He should have lost to mauricio herrera, lamont peterson

ya.. i don't remember peterson getting robbed, but maybe i just forget. Definitely lost to Herrera though.. he deserved this L even if it's just because of that. Herrera went to fight Garcia in Puerto Rico, complete robbery.

both heels a bit achy, legs feel gr8 though.

sick today. got sicker as the day went on.

also, learning some neo4j .. I love graph structures, it's time I start really learning how to take some ideas in my head and store them in graph databases. Lots of the stuff I think about has tons of "complex relationships" that are tough to model in SQL .. but I don't work on those projects much. I have a personal project i'm working on right now which is going to be relationships++  .... soo, time to figure this stuff out.

i'm going over this doc:

OMG how the fuk did that other judge have garcia ahead by 115-113. I also had it 116-112. Last few rounds keith thurman started to become less active but picked it up again in the last round.

I also wanted garcia to get knocked out too. But that first round tho, thurman did wat he said, and got garcia against the ropes and really beat him up. But garcia is solid and can take alot of shots. Thurman's uppercuts were good but prob needed more power to wobble garcia.

Thurman seems to get 'weaker' in the middle rounds.. His power disappears. I've noticed this in several fights.. He's absolutely lethal early on, but then he becomes "normal". But I think people are still worried, understandably.. I think if Garcia had been less cautious in the second half of the fight, he could have made it closer.

It's interesting .. You can see the sting disappear from Thurman's shots.. it's almost like a "sprinter" thing -> he's lethal until around 4-6 rounds, after that, he's coasting.

But wat the fuk was up with the advertisement between everyround lol.

ya that's the problem with boxing on non-premium networks :/ sucked.

But I can tell they both gave it their best and I was nervous when the last score card was 115-113 like the one given to garcia and I was like oh shit. Garcia even started to get excited for some reason lol, but hell no, thurman deserved the win, he fought like a true boxer and his agility was amazing.

Didn't know berto was fighting porter. not really a fight to get excited over, but I don't see berto winning that, as he just luckily managed to win the ortiz fight by a knock out.

But thank goodness garcia has been dethroned. But garcia acting as if he thought he won lol, I could see it in his face that he knew he had lost. Anything to not lose face.

EDIT: lol i had a feeling this would happen, im watching post fight conference, until angel garcia complaining about thurman running lol. Last time I remember thurman put the pressure for majority of the fight and he only sees the 1 - 2 rounds he is moving back. Imagine if he fought floyd and lost to him, he would complaing over that same excuse more disappointed then this fight.

Angel Garcia is a joke. That's why I wanted to see Garcia get ko'd.. just so his dad couldn't talk shit.

Garcia definitely knows he lost.. I actually like Garcia personally.. Crazy how his dad makes me want to see him get KTFO'd. Also I felt Garcia (judges) robbed Mauricio Herrera way back in Puerto Rico, deserved an L. Garcia has definitely fought lots of huge fights though, i'm kinda being a hater.

great fight.. thurman almost got robbed though.

i had it 116-112 for thurman.

really wanted a KO .. all good though, Garcia is dangerous. Thurman hurt him twice early, but Garcia recovered and didn't really taste that power for the rest of the fight.
