Croatia!!!

I know seifullaah isn't too happy, i'm def happy for CRO tho.

They had a very hard road to get to the finals.. well deserved.

Don't think they will be able to defeat France but who knows.. I'm hoping for FRA tho :D My dad & dad's side of the family is from France so, always rooted for them. leggo!!

:( :(

Aww man. I am finding it hard to be happy for croatia, but it seems to be the same old problem with poor calls and no calls when a call was supposed to be made. annoying. Croatia play well against some and do badly against others. But their aggression is their strength.

England's idle walking that caused their second goal against them by croatia 2 defenders only reacting once mandzukic was one on one with the goal keeper.

England will play Belgium for third place, don't know how good that position is in the world cup lol.

France vs Croatia, I am 70% sure that France will beat them easily. I would be happy if croatia win their first world cup.

Hard to enjoy a match when you are rooting for one side, so you don't see the skills of the other side.

But england made it to the semi finals is a good thing I guess, which the last time was 20 years ago.

It was a good session, the reverse lunges felt nice not too easy and not too difficult. Was a little tired from the squats and jumps but not too much. just had to focus on keeping controlled throughout movement. Squats at 70kg maintaining good form is a little too difficult for me, so will have to go lighter and try progress from there.

+1 great match, they were so equally talented but france/belgium was like an attacker vs counter attacker, france were just too good, belgium had alot of chances but there were also so many missed calls by the ref.

I used to like mbape but I hated those antics of his such as when it was belgium's free kick or throw in I don't remember he takes the ball away and starts to run away with it as he knows yellow card wouldn't do much for him.

Im hoping for England vs France FINAL.

why doing the arm swings with DBs? speed comes from the arm, per your signature quote. why slow them down?

My logic behind db arm swings is to add resistance to my arm swings so that when I do run my arm swings would be faster, so the speed comes from the movement of the arm as well as another role arm plays. When we run our arms come up naturally to our chin level or near that area without effort but when it swings down we want to put effort into the downward swing of it and as arms and legs are in synchronization the leg striking the ground would also be quick and then paw the ground back.

so the dumbbell is just to add resistance to my arm swings so that when resistance is removed the arm swings should be faster and more powerful.

also I used light dumbbells around 6kg any weight where the movement flow is not slowed down that technique breaks down.
my 2 cents reasoning.

Soreness: hamstring, glutes, hips
Temperature: 28-29 degrees
BW: 141 lbs

Condition: Another scorching hot day, ran in my vest this time, never ran in my vest before, but felt I had to. It was a good workout session to get rid of some rusts. After over a month of no running not only do you get rusty but you also forget the technical cues in running even though it's in your head. But today's session better acceleration with keeping my head low.

Warm up
    30 min walk
ankle and calf dynamic warm up
front and back straight leg kicks for hamstring and hip stretching
    high hip holds
    quad stretches
    bw reverse lunges
    good mornings with empty barbell

Track Warm up
    reverse calf raises
    A walk x 2, skip x 2, run x 2
    alternating high knee drills
    fast high knee drills

Workout
    Sprint starts 10m x 3
    Push Up sprint starts 10m x 2
    50m sprints x 5
seated sprint arm swings 6kg dumbbells in each hand x 20 x 2
    incline sit ups x 10
alternating superman 5 sec x 10, 20 alternating arms with no holds
back extension using bench at incline x 20, 20 @holding empty barbell

Cool down
    stretches
    30min walk back

Comment
It was a good session, a little windy while baking hot, no shade in sight. first 3 sprints I did coming up too early and then realized this it and corrected it in the last 2 runs where I kept my head low and felt I accelerated further and quicker. the sprint starts were ok, still a little bumpy but hopefully after some constant practices it will be smoother I think it's just the fact of accelerating quick in 10m, which is not a lot of distance but main thing is practicing my sprint start and not my acceleration. Did some back strength work today as I had 2hrs session and finished the running session in 1hr 15min.

Lol. That match was epic, especially when the coach keeps telling the fans who was indicating to the fans to give support every time, they be thinking we can't any more crazier then we are.

but that 2-2 equalizer was just brilliant and then they go a fuk it up in the penalties.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjU8j2bj3RY

The england match wasn't that special but reaching to the semi finals, i think it's been 28 years since they made it to the semi final's.
But england were smart to go this route instead of the route taken by belgium = brazil, japan.

Man what a match, that own goal by brazil is ajoke. It was soo frustrating to see brazil just throw every opportunity to waste.

Damn dem belgium wall of defence, but even though brazil was the stronger team but belgium were just so stubborn and just holding on and just so irritating, I was cheering brazil on hoping for them to score but they just couldn't score an equalizer.

Now I get to see two of the team I don't like cos they kicked my team out.

France vs Belgium - It will be interesting they are soo similar in players too.

good job belgium. brazil you need more work.

It was an ok session. dumbbells caused blisters and that made it hard to do the single leg romanian deadlifts even though it was with a light dumbbell it was irritating the blisters.

Due to irritating low back pains even though I don't have anterior pelvic tilt I have decided to do a lower back strengthening workout everyday, just the regular stretch and exercises.

I was playing tennis yesterday and it was difficult because of low back pain, not debilitating sore but irritating pain.

i.e.
cobra prone stretch
sole to sole of feet glute bridges
single leg glute bridge variant
superman/snow angel variant movement
superman arms at side variant

all 10 reps of 10 sec each movement.

prone alternating superman & high rep "safe" 45-deg back extensions (not "HYPER") were my goto's for back pain.

i've been contemplating getting a 45deg hyper again, in my mind, for like 6 months now..... ;/ really miss it.

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking of doing 45 degrees hypers (oops read that wrong) back extension but would have to be on a bench on incline lol.

I also def fit in that category of being a ghost, I would have to go out of my own way to socialize and that itself is difficult for me.

What a penalty showdown England have never won penalties and then when columbia saved one of england's attempts, everyone in england had their hearts in their throats prepared for another disappointment and then columbia mess up and then columbia's attempt saved and then VICTORYYYYYY.

Looking forward to Uruguay vs France and Belgium vs Brazil.

Omg Columbia just equalised against England on injury time.

One thing I am noticing is the theatrics of making it appear to the ref of a foul and just dive pathetic.

But England Vs Columbia is close

continuation....

So with the people and their selective reasoning to give certain people shout outs. This creates something known as (or maybe I just made it up now) psychological clash. Some one who runs to become good and get recognition to boost their morale and continue to thrive off this, but if they never get that recognition it can lower their morale and then their reasoning will be something completely different, "They don't like me" so the result dislike for that person and he stops competiting or "That guy is racist he is praising a white guy but not me" and then you have result of that thinking.

These whispers or suggestions we get because of someone's action can be very dangerous for certain people. But the person who made that shout out for one person is not aware of the other people's thought, something similar to out of sight out of mind then nothing to ponder over, some are aware and they could have certain reasons for not liking but stereotypes cannot be made for everyone. who knows when we race and beat someone, it could cause a suggestion in that losers mind to hate the winners or maybe cause him to work harder, same as a person who doesn't get noticed ever works hard to get the recognition like in boxing knock the guy out to force the recognition and take control out of the judges.

wow that turned quite dark :ninja:, but all I am saying is different people, different thought process and therefore different decisions not aware of the result of certain actions as they are not psychic.

Side note: this can lead to depression for some people or social anxiety as they feel they are being left out or evaded and so on and on, power of the mind.

I will stop here.

Some good quotes of the power of the mind.

“The mind is everything. What you think you become.” Buddha

“If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.” Anonymous

“When you become the master of your mind, you are master of everything.”

"The empires of the future are the empires of the mind. Winston Churchill"

Hey man, great post and thought maybe I could add my 2 cents in this but based off my perspective as we all are different.

That mentality of giving certain people credits over others seems to be a selective kind of thing. I hope I word this out right else it's my neck lol.

since we all are different, we all different ideologies, thinking process, logical reasoning too. by selective I mean that based on their reasoning they decided who's morale they lift and who is already doing well that he is not in need of upliftment such as the people lost in the crowd who people don't recognize. People who win get automatic mentions. But second and third and so on don't get much recognition unless some people according to their logic to recognize.

will continue later....
