how is he a dbag for that? wut. props to him for not doing a soft dunk.. that was a perfect moment to try and bring the house down. If he landed that, it'd be in the "whole bunch of dunks and shit thread"...  :ninja:

How do you all think Lonzo Ball will do in the NBA?

not as well as lavar ball thinks he will.

well said.. hah.

I think lonzo will form into a solid player in the NBA, as long as he doesn't let the hype crush him. He's a decent 3pt shooter, good vision (assists), pretty athletic, good all around skills. He's got more of an "NBA style", me-first break down a D + create, ie he'll do better in the NBA vs NCAA. He's not going to come in and make a huge impact right away though IMHO.. He's going to need to get used to the speed difference. Players like De`Aaron Fox with NBA speed have locked him down on D. So he's going to have to get used to it, which I think he will.

i've never lost a toenail completely. i've had them turn completely black but, they always stay attached. they never grow back properly though. seem permanently mangled.

man my right big toe is fucked.. just so weird.

prior to yesterday, it actually healed up.. felt great. Then yesterday (after a rest day), it felt wrecked wtf.. Today it felt wrecked as well, then i tried saving some butterfly which was roasting on these hot steps, stayed on a bit longer than i probably should have, and now it's wrecked*2.. left foot is completely fine - so the heat didn't affect my left foot.. so there's something going on, in this one spot of my toe, which is just baffling: now it feels like nerve damage PLUS burn damage.

just logging for future reference.

Fuarkk big toe problems are just shit.

ya they are.. take soooo long to heal. i've had several.. this one is definitely the weirdest.

FEH FEH FEH!@#)(@!)@!(

Pretty sure mine will never heal. Permanent turf toe. I think I had some displaced sesamoid bones at one point too, but they seem to have recessed back into the joint or something. So it's not as bad right now, but it's still annoying as shit.

Any of you guys try some kind of treatment? I've lost at least 3 toenails and had a whole bunch of ingrown ones from wearing poorly fitted cleats and improper nail trimming technique. Now both my toes are unsightly as fuck but because i haven't used my cleats in a while I don't know if it will affect my playing (although it has in the past). Is a visit to the podiatrist worth it?

Nah never had any treatment. Only thing I went to the doc for (regarding toes) was when I dislocated my pinky toe.

I imagine a podiatrist is definitely worth the visit.. My toes are a bit jacked up but, not so much at first glance. If they looked/felt completely jacked up, i'd go in to see a podiatrist.

I was going to make a visit for my ingrown toenail, but I fixed that myself luckily.

yeah.. it sucks when they hurt when you're "performing". Can't be good for performance. The thing that wrecks me the most is wearing the wrong socks (in addition to shoes that are too small). If the shoes fit properly and I wear heavier cotton socks, my toenails are toast. I need to wear those special non-friction/thin socks in order to prevent my toenails from getting destroyed.

pC!

I'll create a new one:

Captain Of Crush NO-SET Gripper STIM

1. A CoC gripper (one level above your current level, ie #1 -> #2, #2 -> #3, #3 -> #4, #4 = done), wired to plastic explosives and a timer.
2. Restrain athlete via ankle chains.
3. Restrain off arm with one hand cuff.
4. Once the gripper is placed into the athlete's dominant hand, start the timer.
5. The only way to stop the timer is to perform a strict, no-set close, verified by 3 judges.
6. Attempts at cheating will be resisted.

Time to PR, literally.

level-7 is so real.. i don't think i've ever run so fast in my life.

looking back: so... fter being chased/shot at, one of the first things I did when I got back home was bump the level-7 thread (02/02/2011 3:32:32 AM)?

solid as fuck.  :ninja:

Cut You In Half Press:

A barbell with a double sided razor blade bar, in the middle. So, you can just barely touch chest and then press the bar, but if you fail, it will chop your torso in half.

bump. was just re-reading this.. this cracked me up.

Meh. He has a point. Lets be real... hes not wrong. He does it to push the dunk game further and, no disrespect, but even Dr J, Nate and Dominique arent on his level DUNKING wise. Much less shaq or even Barry (yes i know hes an ex dunk champion).

sure but, to everyone on the panel, it's about winning.. those guys are about winning first and foremost, so they don't understand the concept of an artist wanting to push the dunk game - not in that moment.. there's 100k on the line and these guys don't make serious guap afaik.. so it's understandable from their perspective, that kilganon made a bad decision by trying something SO risky.

That said... them doubting his mental fortitude would piss me the hell off. He had the competition IN THE BAG and STILL went after another huge dunk. His mental toughness isnt in question. If he was mentally weak he wouldn't have even attempted that. Sorry, that was BS.

definitely.

i think he knew he lost at that point & once he responded to Barkley, the first word he said, just took him right into rant-mode. I mean, if he had simply stated it better, everything would have been fine.

"I don't play it safe. I push the limits."

done. etc.

Like... fuck. Legit he killed the whole comp EVERY DAMN ROUND. Hes literally the only guy who pushes the limit every single time.

ya, he did & ya he is.

he never plays it safe.

i still think he's #1 .. but man i really couldn't believe how that ended .. not only missing that incredible dunk, but what he said at the end.. i mean it's all correct, but he said a little too much & calling them out as non-pro judges (which is true), was just a bit much. I forget what Kenny said but, it was something like - everyone up here has sealed the deal.

my jaw dropped tbh.. wasn't expecting that.
