What a crazy Lebron travel that they just let slide. I love his athleticism and leadership on the court, a true competitor but I absolutely hate him as a skillsman and basketball player.

ya that travel was bad.. The nba needs to fix it's ref problem. The refs absolutely suck. They've always sucked. They miss such simple calls. They call such garbage fouls. They fall for such lame flops. It's such a mess. Compare that to NFL refs, these guys hardly ever miss calls and there's soooo much going on, on the field, at any given moment.

as for lebron.. regarding skills/bball player; "absolutely hate" is pretty strong.. ?? he's got solid skills, nothing amazing.. but ya combine that with his competitiveness, physicality, athleticism, and he's a dominant force. If he wasn't so unselfish, I think he probably would have developed his skills more. He gives up a ton of shots and is always looking to get his team involved. Regardless, his stats are pretty solid (fg%, rebounds, assists, ppg).

pC!

Don't mind me, I'm a Rators fan (Second to Sixers) and I'm spewing hate. That call just got me heated. His unselfishness is huge and passing is elite I can't deny it. Ughhh this series has me feeling hopeless.

Good news is sixers got the #1 pick and Embiid looks healthy. Super excited to see this team play with so much young talent. Who do you like for number one Adarq, Simmons or Ingram? I'm huge on Ingram, I just think he's going to be a fantastic player to build a team around.

Well done! That means your 60m and 100m times are far better than you thought.. I will look into that video too, soccer players are said to have notoriously bad arm movement. Did you just cue yourself to bring back the elbow forcefully?

I find that the cue of pushing the ground forcefully back works for me during acceleration then the arm swing might be implemented to reach max velocity before like he says easing so you don't decelerate rapidly.

Lol yea I don't understand why they didn't make the call, it was so obvious. The commentator went wild after it happened. It probably hurt the Spurs that Ginoboli tried to keep his balance instead of going down.

I actually became angry when Durant didn't hold on to the ball and Danny Green took it from him. I think it's unfortunate that it looks like he hasn't gained any strength and/or muscle mass since first coming to the league. I understand he's a great skill player and shooter but you figure he'd work on his strength if not for plays like that then to extend his career and prevent injuries.

This is 6'6 230lb now heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Was up checking his insta account late last night and marveling at how athletic he is. Plenty of plyo routines as a part of his regiment it seems.

Another here, monstrous physique on him. I also feel like British athletics does very well in training their athletes in a number of sports. Their rap is crap though.

^ From the video above I'm quite certain your problem starts at the descent. If you hold a ruler or even your finger to create a straight bar path you can see that you get off center as you descend so it's not even a weakness issue. On the way up, your body is simply recovering or straightening itself.

I'm on board with paused squats to remedy the squat. You can take your time and hit all your cues until it becomes automatic. I'd film from the same angle and just use bar path as a reference.

Edit: scratch 2nd paragraph, your hips don't go any further back on second look. I do think the width of your stance plays a role here.

hm, i actually switched to a more knee forward first after having problems with hip impingement and mobility sitting back - since i used to squat low bar to paralell which obviously doesn't work for oly lifting. Really i wanna initiate down with both first, i feel though that i'm focusing way too much on pushing knees out too early and your right - wide stance exacerbates this. I am going to dial it in a bit as i went OTT with it - but i can't go too narrow as my snatch/clean receives are really where i want to be strong and they need to be reasonably wide.

i'll try the pause squats and see how they go. thanks for help everyone!!

one more thought - could core strength be an issue here?

OTT - out to town?

With a wider stance I think it's very important to have very mobile and flexible ankles, hip flexors, and adductors. You need that inward/ outward rotation when deacending/ ascending to maintain a vertical torso. That should allow you to bring your hips back and down vertically without leaning forward.

I think it's difficult to assess how much your core factors in from this video. I would cue yourself to stay tight going down.

I really need improve on communicating with my team. Because I am extremely introverted that is a pretty large barrier for me..

I'm quite introverted and often end up being a leader type on sports squads when needed. You can overcome this with more experience and the comfort level that comes with it.

Well done man, your dedication to your diet is fantastic. Mine is pretty much add milkshakes when gaining strength, remove milkshakes when attempting to lean out lol. Harder than it seems ha.

yeah man that 405 is sweet. your form is second only to kf.

Man I dunno, I can argue Dreyth is the most naturally talented squatter. Form is on point and leverages are nearly ideal. Aren't you 6ft+ too Dreyth? Back doesn't bend at all and bar path is a straight line. Of course kf is class and no one has worked on it as much as he has. I just wanted to throw in the argument. Both are super nice
