Not the biggest fan of Jackie Chan but loved him in Rush Hour.. remember seeing 1 & 2 in the theater, lol fest.
I'm ah not sure we can be friends anymore...
lmfao.
Man you should at least check out Wheels on Meals (with subtitles if you can stand reading them). This is where I'd start and probably the one JC movie I watch the most. Drunken Master 2, Police Story 1, Project A, Dragons Forever and Miracles (Mr Canton and Lady Rose) are all great movies too and I had a hard time limiting the list.

Watched John Wick: Chapter 2 the other night-
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4425200/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Not as good as the first. More forced, bad dialogue, even worse Ruby Rose character (thank god she's mute). Action is second to none though. Just great fight choreo altogether.
Also, saw King Arthur with my son a couple of weeks back-

Seriously loved this and don't know why it hasn't been met with more love elsewhere. Having a story like this told by Guy Ritchie in classic snatch/lock stock style is great. I really hope the rest of films get the green light. Also, if you haven't heard it get onto the podcast Ritchie did with Rogan. I mean, I know Guy is a smart uh...guy, but he's next level when it comes to some of his history and archetypes and stuff. Well worth the investment.
I remember enjoying John Wick 1.. Saw 2 on Wednesday & didn't finish it :/ Good action but like you said, forced & weak dialogue. I got bored.
Oh, if they did a "The Equalizer" sequel i'd be interested.. Denzel.
On that note, I re-watched "Bourne Ultimatum" today... I forgot how good that was. It's hard to find a sequel that's better than the original IMHO.. For example:
Mission Impossible 1 (of the remakes with Tom Cruise) - man that was epic.. None of the others came close to the original.
Point Break - All copies of the sequel should be burned. The original is a "cult classic".
Predator - Some of the sequels were ok, but nothing like the original.
But then you have Bourne & Bourne Ultimatum .. Another one that comes to mind is Die Hard & Die Hard 3 with Jeremy Irons & Samuel Jackson. Actually Bad Boys 2 was pretty good also. I'm just naming some action movies that came to the top of my head.
I wanted to watch both Point Break & Mission Impossible 1 the other day.
There's some movies I can just watch all of the time:
- Heat
- Point Break
- Fight Club
- Mission Impossible
- Predator
- Crimson Tide
- Deja Vu
- Die Hard
- Die Hard 3
- The Departed
- Above The Rim
- Training Day
- Minority Report
- Se7en
- Rounders
dno just a few off the top of my head that I don't think i've ever gotten bored with. I left out tons of really good movies, but even with some great movies I left out, I can't watch them all the time.
Yeah I watched Wick 2 over 2 nights. Couldn't make it through in 1. The first one just seemed effortless. I'm assuming there'll be a third too which is kinda sad.
The Bourne movies definitely stand up. MI1 is great. I'm actually a fan of 2 as well. The action got if for me. Sounds like we're of a similar vintage though. So many great movies on that list. My only problem these days is I'm trending away from deep movies due to lack of time/brainpower. Where I would have watched Fight Club, Se7en, Training Day, etc a few years ago I would now pick something easy and fun.
My top movies I can watch at anytime are:
Point Break
White Men Can't Jump
Bad Boys 1 or 2
White Chicks
Dumb and Dumber
Me Myself and Irene
Anything Jackie Chan up to 2000 with selected titles after that
Any golden era Arnie or Sly

I just got back yesterday, I was looking for the replay couldn't find but ran into the results FML EVEN MORE. Those damn news sites that like to pop up to show recent news of that fight. fuk them. It read "Ward stops kovalev in 8" so i was like fuck it and looked on video sites.
The videos below unavailable but found a full fight video.
Good start, kovalev was controlling the fight better, ward got in those moments but kovalev was controlling with his jab in the last round that beastly right hard i think from ward with kovalev coming in really hurt him. btw i found a video with sky sports as broadcaster which malignaggi as the commentator.
Malignaggi was saying all the shots that ward hit was low. on boxing short you have 2 areas, the belt, white stripe across the top of the shorts and the area below it. Ward was hitting some on that white area and others it was below and kovalev is just so unprofessional. When he got hit with the first low blow he leant forward and ref saw this low blow and gave him time and everytime ward hit him in that area he would lean forward and risk getting hit, everytime he leans forward to indiicate he got hurt even though the ref didn't see. The last seconds of the stoppage, true he got hit with a power shot and andre ward just attacking low on the belt and below (the belt being the white band top of the shorts) and kovalev just stayed leant forward as ward just getting those shots in and then the stupidest thing happens is the ref moves ward away and just stops the fight like wtf you doing.
what will happen now to kovalev's career and max kellerman was praising ward and rejecting the notion of the low, even in the replay he hit below the belt and kellerman say's borderline lol it's a conspiracy lol.
As for Kovalev's reaction, it's hard to react voluntarily when you get hit low .. it's like a shockwave through your nervous system. I'm sure Kovalev was wrecked by a few of those low shots. He should have taken a knee then complained, not just stayed on the ropes. His decision to not go down was the bad decision imho, he should have gone way down and then complained like a motherfucker.
True. ye he should have took a knee.
I am seeing alot of people starting to say it was legit. Something is going on.

Fedor TKO'd

Crazy fight. Almost a double knockout. Fedor just couldn't recover fast enough.
Disappointed for Fedor as he's pretty much my all time favourite. He's taken so much punishment over the years, especially in all those crazy Pride fights he had. Should have stayed retired.
