just paid off my student loans from 2006+
should have done this a long time ago.. but just let it sit there, paying itself off every month, allowing the interest to pile up.
feel great now. one less payment to worry about. going to suck seeing that money deduct from my bank account, but it's worth it. Every month the interest was enough for ~3-4 days of food.
GOOD RIDDANCE.
and Navient sucks. They purchased my loan provider, and switch over 6 months ago.. couldn't even restore the payment history (of the many years) in the UI. And they have been sued by the gov several times for screwing over students etc.
I am now officially debt-less.
