What a difference a week or so makes. Motivation is back, body feels 100%. no aches or tweeks.
I feel like I have been draining myself before squat work recently with reactive and RFD work before hand. I am probably getting in decent plyo work with weekly p/u b-ball, so I am cutting back on that. My volume on squats has seem low to me, but my gyms resident power lifter thinks I still do to much volume? He make strength gains pretty consistently doing like 4-5 reps once a week, with stupid heavy weight. I have made close to zero progress over the last 6 months, so ready to work a different angle any advice is appreciated?

2 hours of b-ball, good stuff.
A guy stopped by the open gym that I was in awe of, maybe 5'8" 155lbs, easy 36-38" RVJ. totally effortless. Lightning quick, his CNS was on overdrive. He only played 2 or 3 games, talked a ton of trash, constantly ready for a fist fight. (his team lost to us BTW) wicked excitable.
If you could bottle that shit I would only need a sip.....  I don't run into guys with that much juice often.

Nice work son! Good bar speed on the heavy weight too, you make it look easy like you had 3 more in the tank!

Lower back has been super tight lately, tired to go at squats a couple times this last week and don't have full ROM. I couldn't get past the warm up. didn't really hurt just felt real limited? wtf?
been trying to take it easy but hope to be back at 100% soon.

Played b-ball last night. felt ok but my knees have been bothering me for some reason. haven't hit squats since last Thursday and have been lifting light for the last 3 weeks and still my knees are sore. WTF? not feeling it lately. :uhhhfacepalm:

Tried to follow up the squats with deadlifts but wasn't going to happen so I stopped with warm up set. Felt like a pussy tonight when I was looking at myself in the mirror and wondering if I have it in me to make progress. Some of the cats in here put in work, and with the frequency that would put me in the hospital. sometimes I wonder if I got a crap hand in the recovery department or I am just a nancy. (rhetorical don't answer this)

Kids stopped me from going to the gym tonight. so I hit the garage nautilus set up. It's not a real squat rack so no pins to save me or gauge depth. So I end up going really deep.
