everyone here is at a different level in the journey. personal progress is what we are all after.

The online training log has helped me. I also have kept a personal log for years, but with the online log being open for the world to see what a unmotivated nancy I am gives me just a bit more motivation. I usually need it.

7/15/11 Friday BW=175.4

did some jumps thursday and friday morning. ankle is feeling much better. watched a Adam k video thanks to a Jack W e-mail.
working on turning horiz energy into vert energy and stuff.
MSEM squats on monday and pick up ball on tuesday.

squats 6x185, 4x225, 6x255, 6x255, 6x255, 20x205
db lunge 50# 1x6
db bench 8x50, 8x60, 8x70, 8x75
pull up BW 10,8,7
P90X abs.

been on vacation the last week, watching kids and working 12 hour days on home projects. not a lot of left over energy for bettering myself. now that everything is almost done I'm feeling good.

Awesome. Just discovered the potential of these.


No Windlass Mechanism = No fully functioning fascial winding of the body. All sprinters seem to have great toes.

I have week calves and do not have access to a standing calf raise. I have always heard that seated toe raises suck for athletics.




Tuesday 7/12/11 BW=174.4

jumps and dunks. Best I have been jumping since last months ankle injury. only getting up about 28" once I measured tho :(

Could not get to the gym so Lifted in the garage.

Motivation level low. body feels wasted. weights felt extra heavy.
Did some jumps yesterday and actually felt good.

Yes. that is the key I believe?
I did the 90 day set up for 30 days. 1.5 hours 6 days a week is too much for me tho. If you eat clean and started at 10% BF you probably would be more ripped in 90days.
the ab w/o is good btw.

ankle still not up to jumping maybe another week.

Gave a few extra day in between w/o's. jumped a little bit after tonight's weights. felt ok. I can only jump with minimal force, but that is progress. I haven't had an ankle injury since 10th grade. good run but still sucks.

Finally got 2 plates on bench again, even if only for low reps.

No more b-ball for a while, sprained my ankle pretty good. swelling has gone down but bruised pretty bad. Haven't done that for a long time and forgot how much it sucks...........
Might do some light squats on sunday and see how it feels?

 Played b-ball tonight, got one bucket into the second game and rolled my ankle on somebodies foot. Got it elevated and iced quickly. didn't swell up to bad yet so unsure how bad it is. It hurts tho. hoping for the best. damn. :uhhhfacepalm:

warmed up on the squats felt good hit 6x255, next set I couldn't get one? I don't get it, it seems to happen to me alot.
last time I went for max hit easy 285, then failed 295. If I would have gone for 295 first I think I would have gotten it. One shot and then down hill WTF?

I need to play more and get my confidence where it needs to be but my schedule and body probably couldn't handle it :(

feeling great, Great w/o. Lovin the box squats. focused for so long ATG and wasn't seeing results or progress. I am weak out of the hole but strong for the rest of the movement. I probably wasn't challenging myself enough to make progress due to that fact?
I have my sights on 300#s.
