Monday: people came over to lift in my garge, while being cold (17 degree) the atmosphere was good.
Squats-not in oly shoes, to be easy on knees.
135x10
135x10
135x10
225x10-real quick, and jumped a foot with last rep.
snatch-real close grip
135x1
cleans
225x1
315x0-got it about to neck height but it was 4" too far foward, and i didn't bend much to try to catch it lol, it was more of just a fun thing, since everyone was deadlift and I didn't want to since the meet was two days ago.

about it....day 2 of diet already feeling so much lighter on my feet, and so explosive, knee troubles are going away, and arms even look more defined, no homo hahahahahahahahahahaha

main reason for knees feeling better I think is that the blood that was always by digestive track to helping with absorbtion/digestion of mass amounts of food all the time, now that blood a lot of the time is in knee joint and providing the knees with more materials for construction. Tell me If i am crazy, I may be.lol

powerlifting ignorance question: Why didn't you go for a lighter final attempt on DL? Like 740 or something?

I really wanted 750 lol

Thanks, I want to try somewhere betweeen 765-800 on january 2nd....then after that get pec surgury.....Sunday (or saturday night) Started my fat loss now. Trying to get down around 7% bf...gonna eat chicken, oats, veggies, and olive oil a lot....
training:
Mondays: some explosive running/ movement on feet/ lower body
Tuesday: abs/maybe some upper body
Wednesday: same as monday
Thursday: abs/maybe upper
Friday: off and carbs a lot higher to prepare for saturday
saturday: squats in knee wraps, heavy, and maybe some deadlifts.
Sunday: maybe bball

Yesterday: (sunday) went to play bball, surprised knees were not that stiff after meet, especially after taking alot of ibprofen during it (the day after squatting heavy or bball on ibprofen usually has bad knee stiffness when ibprofen wears off)
any tips or things I am forgetting for losing fat lemme kno brehs.

Nah powerlifting is nothing for me... :) I play volleyball and want to do so in the future thus I need to improve my jumping levels a lot (24-25'' SVJ/~28'' RVJ right now) ... but had a pretty severe ankle sprain 4 weeks ago and am still somewhat recovering from it. In addition to this I had some troublesome knee issues for the last 2 years which kept me away of doing much/heavy lowerbody lifting and vert training (sometimes I had to rest completely) It's better now though and I'll gonna bust my ass in the future to achieve my goals. I assume you'll do the same so.... keep impressing me! ^^
do a lot of RDL's lol...easy on knees, great for jumping, and makes knees more healthy it seems like. rest is important, and sometimes if you don't take it, your body will make you take it (injury)....of course we both will.

Very nice work... 705lbs just looked so damn easy. BEAST MODE right there man! Too bad you didn't get the 749lbs one but it was pretty close. You'll get it next time for sure! Do you intend to do another powerlifting meet in the near future?
Thanks man, umm prolly around April I was thinking, and a strongman meet in summer/end of summer. How bout you??

Yeah man for sure. That goal is on it's way too, just keep doing what you're doing. It's good to hear that at your age you're willing to give your joints a break. I'm 23, and I'm too hard headed to take proper rest. I could take a leaf out of your book for sure.

Damn man, your deadlifting defies belief. Reset that teen deadlift record. You WILL do it if you go after it. Your training is hard, and you're a strong mofo. Get it man.
Thanks broseph, :highfive: but I should definatley for for a 45" running first give joints a break.

That 705 dl looked so easy  :strong:
thanks big P....after I loose weight (during decem/jan) I might take a shot at the highest deadlift by a teen ever (current is 815)

awesome man, if you decide to go that route, you will really pose a legit challenge to that record, would be insane to see you get it..

pc
thanks brah, I think within a couple years 900 at under 250 would be awesome....(I HOPE TO  NOT GET HURT SOMEHOW!!) ok now i gotta leave for the gym c ya.
