Why? Hitting and running is a safe and efficient combat manner. Just ask the USA and it's laser guided missiles.

People were stupid back in the day when they would just march towards the enemy where the enemy would just shoot at them (~1800).

The idea is to inflict damage while you get none.

It's just human nature without the hypocrisy right there in the video...

I think the major difference between me and her is the fact that I don't pull my shoulders back (and the whole back, back) so to speak. So therefore hip extension doesn't occur. I need to focus on letting myself on my back a little more in the pull I GUESS.

I can't do them alternatively. First off, my right leg is whack, and secondly - I CAN'T! I mess everything up in the mechanics and end up plantar flexing on the landings... which is a no-no.

Thanks and yeah, the depth broad jumps looked very long actually, I need to measure them the next time. I also was hip hyperextending very well on them which is rare for me (also did hip flexor static stretch before them).

Power cleans need more work on exactly that hip extension part. I probably need to lean more backwards when I do them or something.

As for the bounds... yeah I've always done them very fast because that's the way "I feel like making them". I mean, for maximum efficiency (where "efficiency" is a hard to quantify word) I feel like I need to do them fast. But maybe I should slow down and put more power, both vertically and horizontally, into them.

Yes but he looks so much manly and "healthy" now!

Don't fight the power! Embrace it.

Yeah I was talking to Nightfly that the exercise doesn't seem that bad afterall. I mean, even if some stuff looks funny, it may have it's uses. It's when people go over board with things like these that it's silly.

It's interesting that you haven't included the 1-leg RDL as a strength exercise. I feel like my glutes work very well using it, and it's one of my favorite exercises.

Well the first leg is definitely the loaded leg ... the amount of load differentiates the good, reactive kind of people vs. the non-reactive jumpers.
