OK so since I couldn't really sleep "well", I also had a strange dream:

I was with my mom to a country place of one of my mom's childhood friends. There were abandoned market buildings with groceries products still in the rafters. So my mom was like "hey, they won't need this anymore" and took a LOLLIPOP (WTF) and started sucking it (WTF). I was like "don't do that, you don't want to go to jail because of a stupid lollipop". So out of nowhere two cops showed up to arrest her, but we bribed them and they left.

Then I went home and in my balcony there was one yacht that was mine and two guys in a small boat that were banging into the yacht with the boat to break it. So I picked up a cell phone and called 911 (here it's 112 the emergency number, but I called 911) and after like 3 times ringing, one woman picked up the phone and say "yeeeeeeeees?". I was like "um... I have a problem". So in the middle of my dream I woke up for a short period I think, and then continued with my dream and was like "I just dreamed that there were two guys on a boat trying to bang into my yacht that is on my balcony. I know it sounds silly, but you gotta help me". And then I heard a strange noise, like the ones you usually hear in videogames, and went to look into my balcony and the yacht and the boat with the guys disappeared, and instead there was one giant orange fish in there (was like 10 feet long and pretty fat). Or maybe it was a horse (? I can't remember).

So I was like "nevermind..." on the phone and hung up. Then my cell phone rang to wake me up to go to the gym.

I can't find it right now, but there was a dunk in the AND1 mixtape tour where he planted like 10 feet in front of him.

PS: You can see here http://www.pure-dedication.com/various_images/golden_child_dunk_1c.png what I was talking about in the ARowe thread regarding the "opening up laterally" of the arms in the gather. He does not gather throwing his arms back and then rotating, but rather to the side and then rotating in and up.

I wish I would have a saxophone... I want to get one actually sooner or later. I "play" the piano meaning I toy with it every now and then (by piano I mean the electric synthesizer or whatever the name of that) and I have an electric guitar but it seems mega complicated to do anything with it.

Yeah it makes a big difference if you do it right. I mean, I'm not a two footed jumper by any means, but once I started doing that I could just feel everything so much better in my jump.

Haha you look so small...

I have an observation though: try to extend your arms to your side and then rotate them and jump. Like, "open up" your jump. I think you could jump better with a few technique adjustments.

Let me try and find a video of what I'm talking about...

See how he "opens up" stretching his arms to the side more than back, and then rotating and jumping? I have personally found out my highest jumps come when I do that as well, it just "centers" all the power into the core/abs and down into the ground if you do it right.

That's because you use the state's medical system. I had a prescription for an MRI for a private cabinet. I'm not really aware of many MRI's being available to the public system (there probably are, but ...).

Yes but I can smash my palms in the supports if I somehow forgot where they are or if I cramp and need to get the bar on the supports immediately. I will try, in the meantime I need to work with shoulder dislocations and stretches, and use a lower weight. Eventually, I could put my palms higher and not really keep them on the bar but a bit over it.

Hey guys,
  I've been experiencing some right lateral knee clicking since last night. I rolled the heck out of my IT band, stretched my piriformis (dunno if that's relevant to the problem at hand) and iced my right lateral knee and the discomfort isn't really subsiding. I had a lateral meniscus tear diagnosed  via an MRI in 2007 (not sure if I tore it then or earlier) and had a PLC reconstruction operation following the diagnosis and have linering scar tissue, which may be causing or aggravating the "problem." Any suggestions?



i'd give it a few days before getting it checked out.. ice/roll ITB is my general advice, but if it's still bugging at nearly the same intensity by thursday i'd think about getting it checked.. if you are 'adarqui' with no insurance though, you workout :< (edit: knock on wood)

I don't get this insurance thing. I have to pay for my MRI regardless if I'm insured or not. The consultation is "free", meaning it's free besides whatever it is you're giving to the doctor for himself.

There's one issue: I don't do requests :P

In fact, I sing only the songs I really really like, and I'm not much into music at all (I don't know bands, songs etc). I just like to sing certain songs that only I choose.

You bring up some good points, and thanks for reading all that stuff that I wrote (if you indeed read it all :P).

In terms of the rep range, I kind of want to go crazy on the reps per set for a while and also keeping the weight low. The reason for that is to allow my arms to adapt (since if I go very heavy my elbows get tendinitis or whatever from the low bar position and I'm out). So in that time I'll work on flexibility as well while keeping the weight on the bar "low" (think 80-100 kg).

Then, after I finish a few cycles of 3x8 and 4x10, I'll go with 4x5 and 3x8, so more weight and intensity, less volume. Kind of like transitioning into strength from hypertrophy. And then it's probably going to be pure strength.

Hopefully my health will allow me to do this.

Oh and yeah, I'll do bench press and overhead press, makes more sense. And it's going to be interesting in terms of recovery... I guess I just have to deal with that as I progress, and make whatever adjustments I see fit.
