From what I know of, the heart of all the animals has pretty much the same limit in terms of lifetime and beats. The only difference is that for some animals it beats faster, for others, slower.

Yeah I guess it doesn't really make sense for unilateral jumpers to do 1/4 squats with heavy weights if they can do the same weight with step-ups, since the step-ups are more specific.

So it's full squats to build muscle and step-ups for specificity.

You grabbed on the rim, you can see your left hand grabbing the rim in the still picture of youtube snapshot!!!

At least it looks safe.
