Did a whole mess of jumps tonight. feeling great off one leg lately.
couple rounds on the heavy bag to warm up. Also did heavy bag kicks in between sets. Good S.

Been on vacation for the last couple of weeks. not too much exercise to speak of. I played b-ball three nights in a row last week and went surfing on Sunday, which is a good workout for a rookie.
 
Actually down some weight for a change left 178.4 and today in at 175.4.
 
Today I did a few sets of squats for movement, shot around and hit the heavy bag a few rounds.
 
Plan on playing some b-ball + real weights on saturday.

what's your view on p90x abs? you've been doing them consistently for quite a while. any noticeable change in core strength?

Def helped with my core strength, which is still lacking. (probably due to lack of muscle confusion from my stale routine  ;))
Probably no better than doing 300 reps/ 15mins of ab work IMHO, but it is super convenient to do in my bedroom.

Wait so why do you squat every day?

because i recover like wolverine  :P

IMO, the more you lift over 2BW, it takes more skill/muscle memory to get it done. skipped days quickly de-trains me. fully recovered but uncoordinated will not get you lifting heavy weights consistently.

even with a little strain in my back a couple of days back, i was not pinned by 2.5BW paused squat (425@170) for the last 25+ daily attempts.  :headbang:

I am beginning to think your superhuman!  :highfive:

 :personal-record: on squat today 4x270. That should equal 300# 1rm. Big milestone for me.

Seems like it has been 1 step forward, 2 steps back under the bar for the last year. Injuries/illness halt progress. Don't need anymore of that.
