I figured out how I hurt my back. It was the stupid pointless jumps I did on the 23rd of Jan at home.

JS 6x145 (PR)

A super natural movement like unloaded jumps vs the monstrosity of jump squats with a 145kg barbell on your back, one of them hurt your back, guess which.


Wait, he actually did JUMPSQUATS with 145 kg? I read that and thought "oh he changed the units back to lbs"... wait... so you're telling me... that... he... wait... what?!

ya it was good. greatest ever (carter mix?)? dno. I was hesitant to click initially because i've seen soooo many carter mixes. it was def good tho.

I remember when I was younger & Vince was in his prime (Vinsanity era), I couldn't wait to turn on SportsCenter. Sooo many highlights.

I'm actually one of the biggest VC fans out there, saw over 500 of his games live and bought NBA League Pass exclusively just to see him play. Also a member of the Vince Carter Online Facebook Group (not anymore since I deactivated Facebook :D ).

Plus, you're kind of a beast doing hip thrusts anyway, with 200 kg. So... I think you have a perfect combination of quad+glute/+glute so to speak.

I think front squats are great for "general" athleticism. No reason at all not do do them or to think you're limiting yourself if you only do front squats.

I think it's too hard to tell. Why can't you just test your backsquat "comfortable" 1RM every now and then?
