the guy who helped me pick out my shoes today, is solid with a camera.. he's also chief of operations or something for the store I bought them at. he just joined ig, says he has tons of shots (his own photos) that he's going to upload:

needed something for long road training, to protect my feet more, make my legs stronger (heavier shoes), and spare my racing flats the "extra miles".
picked up Brooks these today:

Feel really good.. Tried on some Saucony's and New Balance's, didn't come close to these. The guy at the store (who I met at some races), suggested them to me. He brought me out a few pair, and this was the last one, which he said he thought i'd prefer. cool. went well.

No workout. Calves quite sore. Upper body still pretty sore. Seems like as good a day as any to take a total rest. Surprised by this low weigh in. I ate at least 2400kcal. I did have to do quite a lot of walking, and I guess running is more energy intensive than lifting. Still, probably a bit of an anomaly?
Signed up for a 5k next Friday, the 26th...
