ALLIE KEIFFER IS ON STRAVA FOLKS.

her Doha half CR:

This woman is awesome.

Her NYC Marathon effort, the race that "put her on the map" because she basically came out of "nowhere" to hit 2:29 .. though she holds the "marathon on a track WR":

^^ scoob just posted on FB that this is his longest vert/jump break in 8 years, hasn't jumped since 2018.

Quote
also, my 2 cents. not doing much vert in 2018 reminds me of years past. obviously being sick doesn't help, so hopefully you recover quick and can get back at it. you just don't want to go too long without maintaining the work you've put in .. you've done this before and detrained too much, only having to rebuild that stuff again -> don't let it slip if you still want to hit that goal.

This is funny. Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza just tagged me on IG: "Carb loading for a race? We have the perfect options for that, just ask @andrewdarqui. #CarbLoad #RaceDay #ACFP #NomNom"

lmfao!!

nice session. wimped out too much on the 2nd 10 min effort. :D

man that's serious.

I helped pace her a bit on the 200's, she's never really done those I don't think. gave her tips on relaxing/using run form not sprint form .. by the last split she was flying. I took off on the last split too. Reminded me of that TAG video I posted in the running section the other day:

Boxing / Re: Misc Boxing News

Well it's not really a boxing news but it's news involving a boxer...so.

Recently/While ago not sure how long ago lol there was the racist H&M advert showing a picture of a little black kid wearing a shirt, looked like a hoodie but nvm that, it said on it 'coolest monkey in the jungle' then came the onslaught of tweets slamming the ad as racist and disgusting and adrien broner went to an H&M store and well see the video in the link below. lol

?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=embed_legacy

obnoxious, but amusing.. especially the end.

not sure about the shirt, but i guess at least some respect that he found it offensive and sounded off on it.. just went about it weird.

Errol spence dominates as usual but peterson made it such an exciting fight. I think it was prob a good idea for peterson's trainer to stop the fight as peterson didn't seem confident when asked about stopping the fight, he just said what you think is right, which inside would be like I can't handle him.

Spence is not good up close but likes distance giving chance to set up combos and power shots, but when the opponent comes up close it makes it harder for spence.

Great fight. He should fight someone with great power and is a slugger as that would break spence's rhythm.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ-Rb4mfpF8

damn nice. that looked like a fun fight.

definitely a good stop. Peterson has heart, they needed to save him for sure.. you can tell he didn't want to go out there but he would have.

AM Cardio

bw- 92.4
sleep- slept through 4.30am alarm so got at least 7 hours

Lunch run- 4.94km in 31:32 @ 6.23 min/km

I'm back to LISS. Going to follow this base building concept for a while.

PM Strength 75%

I like LISS (sloth lyfe), for just some general base building etc. But, I also think if someone is using that exclusively, they still need some strides thrown in, could be at the end of a workout, or on a separate day etc.. Just something to get those muscles firing faster, even if it's just a short 50-100m submax.

2cents.

6688
- run 6.66 km in 32:22
pace really all over the place, felt fast at the beginning but was only going at 4:37-4:40 for the first 2 km. either there's something goofy with my watch (please god no) or RPE was just way higher today than normal. this felt hard but was actually slower than monday. and apparently i hit 5 km in 24:07? weird.

- stretch

weird. i bet your watch is good though. just a down day that felt faster, stale life.

1 mile run in 8:06
     - can definitely get 7:59
With a hoodie on that kept ridin up on me

So total distance for that run is 1.25 miles with a .25 walk

4 rounds total of the wod so thats 1 mile i ran
Then
.25 walk - .5 run - .25 walk - .5 run - .25 walk

Total 3 miles running
          1 mile walked

Hanging on at 274 because fuck me right, i have the shittiest body for weightloss, im going to an endocrinologist sometime to get blood work done because this shit is fucking stupid.

Just ordered brooks ghost 9s for my new running shoes. My ghost 8s will be just workout only, the outsides are coming undone so will get shoe goo to repair them a bit.

great stuff man. get that sub8 will feel good, i mean it looks way different on the watch etc.. 7:XX vs 8:XX.

new territory. :highfive:

"hoody riding up on you", that kind of stuff sucks. I had my knife doing that to me the other night. Torture.
