wtf dude! why do you ask for advice when you don't take it?

dont buy any of those programs, they are all just basic templates that anyone here could write for you.

you got enough of good advice in here, like:
Starting Strength plus jumping a lot before you lift.
http://www.adarq.org/forum/performance-training-blog/an-introductory-block/

dont ask more any more questions about which program you should get! :uhhhfacepalm:

Damn, why did you suddenly decided to make it easy? :uhhhfacepalm:

Reading is really important. Unless you get a training video.

Oh wait, that wasn't the point.

So you do Lance's reactive 1-2 jump? First a small jump and then an all-out rebound jump and then reset and repeat?

Injury, Prehab, & Rehab talk for the brittlebros / Re: Right Hip Pain
« on: January 11, 2011, 05:01:32 pm »
I know because I always used to get that since I jump off my left leg and the right leg I pull it up (the knee), so it kind of gets inflammed sometimes...

It's interesting, on a separate note, I don't know how many people know that the ITB actually helps extend the knee, although one of it's attachement points is at the hip.

Is the pain close to that "boney" structure in your hip? Because it might be a tight illio-tibial band. In that case, you need to foam roll the side of the quad (the ITB, actually).

Search for ITB foam rolling on youtube.

wtf i feel like a fail, i only got 40 on my third try..you guys are pretty beast

Try holding the mouse with the other hand and tensing the forearm isometrically to the maximum. People usually recommend total relaxation but in my case, I found the inverse being true.

I'm having all kinds of dreams lately, probably ZMA related or something...

Last night I dreamed that I was having a mountain expedition and was looking up on a hill and there was a "supermodel" that was like ~3m tall at about 1500m altitude, so everybody freaked out and we went on to look for her. Then on a stop to rest while we were getting up, I just sang "Depeche Mode" to the other participants (wtf) that were from other countries, usually Germany. Then we went on and found the girl (I'm shortening the story here) and she was like nah, I'm 1.80 tall (she said she's not big, it was an illusion) but we never believed her.

ADARQ & LanceSTS - Q&A / Re: One-leg wall sits
« on: January 10, 2011, 06:22:21 am »
Yeah definitely. I think it's smarter to go with a narrower, more jump-related stance with half squats since you're going for specificity anyway.

I have my Olympic high jumper friend that's 6'4-6'5 and can squat narrow but always squats high bar with heels elevated... he has great flexibility but then again - he's been at the Olympics in 2004 I think. So I can't really compare myself to Olympic athletes (although I am comparing myself - you need to aim to the highest level if you're to improve). But he probably is so much more flexible.

Well I look at how other people of my height are able to squat full and they definitely can squat narrower... I mean, look at adarqui. Although I haven't seen him squat full.
