my FINS are getting wrecked by the PATS :(

I didn't watch the game but I seen the score...ouch!

On a positive note my Saints won 33-18 against the Giants.

Fins had a chance to get Breez way back.. and offered the big $$ to Culpepper.. :( That's what I think about when I watch Breez play.

Taysom Hill is becoming one of my favourite players to watch. His official position is back up QB but he does a little bit of everything. It gives the Saints an x-factor.

Man, Kamara is LEGIT. That dude is fun to watch. He is so explosive.

I had to google who Culpepper was...he's no Brees :P
But in all seriousness that's one of those 50/50 calls that look terrible with hindsight.

I laughed when Kamara ran straight down the tunnel after scoring his last TD like a boss. Kamara is such a glider. He looks like he's just cruising but other players can't catch him aka Eric Dickerson. Deceptive speed. Also read his wikipedia page. Obviously he had talent getting recruited to Alabama but god damn every single Alabama RB he played with has now just about gone onto play NFL- shows how stacked Alabama is. Kamara is literally another one of those Last Chance U JUCO stories after being a former D1 player.

The Perth Wildcats played against the Utah Jazz and got creamed by 50+ points. It was like men against boys. Not a good look for Australian basketball but hopefully they bounce back and put in a more respectable performance when they play against the Denver Nuggets. My team (Adelaide 36ers) get the opportunity to play against the Utah Jazz in a few days and there is no way we'll lose by that much!!!

hah damn.

i mean if AU put up their olympic team against these NBA teams, they'd do good, i imagine.

Yeah the Aus Olympic team would fair well against most NBA teams. The NBA has a 101.9 million dollar salary cap. The NBL has a 1.1 million salary cap so players are literally getting paid 100x more in the NBA, which is why it's the best comp in the world.

The Sydney Kings were close being down 6 points against the Clippers in the 4th quarter. In the end Clippers pulled away and won 110-91. Aside from the salaries the biggest difference is the size of the players. The commentator in the Clippers V Kings game repeatedly said that "if only Jerome Randle was a few inches taller he'd definitely be in the NBA" (Randle is 5'9 and scored 25 points). In comparison the PG for the Clippers was 6'5 with a 7'0 wingspan. The forwards are just soo much more athletic and dominant at the NBA level as well. Sydney did okay in the forwards but having Bogut playing for them really helped.

This game was a shootout!

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqJ-eucg4gc" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqJ-eucg4gc</a>

I was going for the Vikings :(

Edit- Adam Thielen got robbed. Scored 1 TD but possibly could've had 2 as he got incorrectly called down on a catch (0:49-1:22).

That is awful :( :( :(
Heal good and fast man, and make the best out of it as coges said, don't let the no-sports make you a couch-booze-potato ( talking from personal experience in the past ).

Thanks vag!

Great individual accomplishment for Drew Brees breaking the NFL record for most ever completions.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/saints/2018/09/23/drew-brees-breaks-record-completions-career-nfl/1403477002/

"The New Orleans Saints quarterback set the record Sunday for most pass completions in a career, eclipsing Brett Favre's previous mark of 6,300".

Dude that sucks!

Time to get swole then. No better excuse to go beach body than a torn hammy.

Defs!

I'm going to have a week off though as I can't even walk up or down stairs atm without holding onto a rail! Experienced this today at the train station it was agony. Lucky I have an office job!

Welcome back mate!

I tore my fkn hamstring at training tonight  :raging: :raging: :raging:

I'm fkn devastated my football season is over before I even got to play a game.

The money I was going to spend on fees I'm going to use on physio. I'm also going to miss my end of season rugby league trip now as well, which was on the 6th October.

After football training on Monday my hamstring was feeling tight. As usual I didn't listen to my body and I paid the price  :(

I'll still keep posting on adarq though and looking at people's logs. Peace!
