Edit- Old man was in the news and unfortunately they found his body yesterday but said it wasn't any suspicious circumstances with his death. Apparently he suffered from some mental health issues. The instructor didn't say anything about his mental health to us after training. He just said that his wife appreciated the support and we were welcome to message her but just not to visit her because she needed rest. Then after training, some of the guys were talking privately saying that they were really worried because he had some mental health issues. It wasn't much later than 24 hours and I saw on the news that his body had been found. I'm expecting it's going to be a bit sad tomorrow at training and I feel terrible for his wife.

The component to our success with these sub/tropical species is the oak canopy that we use as a living greenhouse.  The old oaks allow us to push the subtropical edge, growing sub/tropical species & collecting as much diversity as we can find.  Our primary focus is building soil, encouraging maximum biodiversity above the ground & below.  The only irrigation used on the farm is for our nursery.   Heavy mulching, constant cover crops, dynamic accumulators, nitrogen fixers & other beneficial species = a booming perennial agriculture system!

oh also i haven't been logging this:

any time i go to the property, I do a set of dead hang chinups. he's got a nice pullup bar hanging from the end of the porch.

today:

i think if i had this prop.. i'd bring my legendary power rack there. i'd also get a really nice heavy bag setup eventually. also a nice mat for jump roping.

plants are doing incredible at the potential new property. hoping to make this work. really do love this property.

2nd appraisal set for tuesday.

should figure this out once the 2nd appraisal comes in.
