Notes
Feel trashed today, oof, despite 9 hours of decent sleep. Hip musculature in particular is sore, given the JJ stuff + sprints for first time in ages, though it's kinda nice, haha. Not surprised but golly it has hit me. Will see how i feel tomorrow -- may pysh the workout to Sunday. Pretty hyped to do it though, so may just go for it tomorrow.
Think I would be smart to take today as a full rest day (though I'll be on my feet in the kitchen most of the day) so nixing the calisthenics.
Chag sameach/have a good Good Friday y'all.

Damn, had a great workout this morning in #Boulder with @ianbutler_rcs. 20km continuous run (6x2km @ marathon effort/1km @ 20 seconds + slower than pace, extra 2km at the end) 1:04:22 total time 5:11 mile avg, splits (6:25, 3:24, 6:23, 3:23, 6:20, 3:20, 6:10, 3:23, 6:17, 3:27, 6:07, 3:28, 6:06) @ 5200 ft elevation. Best long workout this year, was really surprised since I just got back from Poland earlier this week. Then again, I am not so surprised, I have race 2 races in 3 weeks (15k and half), now my body has jumped in fitness. My workouts will now be better. Much needed confidence booster, things are coming around at a much needed time 🙏🏽. Thanks @coach___hudson for the continued support all these years. #Contodo #LondonMarathon #hardworkpaysoffs #livingthedream #hudsonelite
I pushed myself hard in this race (Race for Women's Wellness). There was alot on my mind while i was running. Even though this was my first time doing the event, it means alot to me. I told my mom (😍 Karen @karendarqui) that i would try to win it for her, since it benefits those battling cancer, and my mom had been battling it for 9 years (CLL, Leukemia). She benefited from similar funds early on, diagnosed with CLL and having no health insurance etc . Anyway, she liked the idea and loved seeing me bring her the hardware, trophy's and such. Came somewhat close to winning it, but lost to some better athletes. It's already on my mind for next year though, and sometimes some crazy fast people show up (sub1:10), so you won't catch me slacking. 😎 It would have been great to see her get up on that stage with the rest of those cancer survivors and fighters. She lost the battle last April (2017). #keepfighting. ❤🏃Will keep trying to win it for her. Time is not guaranteed tho soo.. go get it. 🏃
1 x 1 @140kg Deadlifts
Wasn't planning to deadlift, but just to join this guy he got me to work up to 140kg
which is a lifetime PR.
congrats man!! unexpected PR's are the best hah.
means you're just legit stronger now, which is great.
Thanks, I have mixed emotions because I used a belt. Not sure how much that takes away from the lift.
