Its official....patellar tendinitis and some muscle issues in the right knee. Therapist said I'll be back to 100% in 3-4 weeks of treatment and rehab as long as I dont injure it further. :(

I love the NFL combine! I like to compare my numbers to similar sized athletes to see how far away I am lol!

By contrast....the NBA combine is a joke, specimen wise.

I liked it but, Im gna be that guy...

Why in 99.9999% of all deadlift videos do people just drop the weights?  I realize the eccentric part of the lift in a deadlift is the riskier half but why not cut down some weight and reap the gains from a controlled eccentric phase? All other muscle groups/lifts we're told to concentrate on both phases of the lift to fully activate the surrounding musculature. :/ Just my thoughts, beast for sure none the less!

I wouldn't go about making sweeping changes but small tweaks to make him more efficient could be beneficial?

Did some shit.

Deadlifts up to 405...felt that a little in my knee. 315 x10 didnt hurt.

Ton of ham curls. Handful of calf raises. Skipped core. Just not into it lately.

Heel first seems like it would take longer IN the plant before pushoff occured?

And also...I dont tuink his feet are usually THAT far apart (one ahead of the other) in a plant UNLESS hes planning on a 360/540/720. Id think he have more rotational torque that way.

Hmmmm....if that's 8.5ft or so...he'd be close at 10ft.

Either he or JClark will get it first IMO (and I think Clark would have already if he didn't blow out his ACL :( )

Did some light leg work tonight.

Paused squats up to 315lbs and did 2 singles at 365 with no knee pain. Didnt want to push to 405 just in case. Backed off and did 315 x5 and 225 x10 just for some volume. Stopped both sets the moment I felt discomfort.

Did leg extensions.... 6 sets of 30 per leg. Definitely felt it right where my R knee is sore but it didnt hurt, just a hey youre working out burn. 3 sets of heavy 20 rep calf raises and some light core work. Overall a very easy day at the gym.

Did ine box jump at the end and felt nothing so thats a decent sign.

The more I sit here and mess with mine...its QUITE possible 8 have a strain or small tear in the bottom of my quad where it comes into the patella. The pain starts above the patella and radiates down across it (i think lol). If thats the case only fix is rest.
