whey-shakes

got some from CVS for 14 bucks and it has about 16 scoops worth 25grams each...better than GNC imo

$14 for 16 scoops? Yikes, buddy, you got gouged. Trueprotein.com = $55 for 10 lbs. Don't know how many scoops that is, my guess would be about 150-200. Lasts me about 6 months.

Thanks!!! Bought to go buy some ish right now...then I could go morning, noon, and evening with protein :) that would completely solve my problem....

herd these guys are the most explosive...don't they get out faster in the first 10m than the pro sprinters?

Often times, yes. Some of the big shot putters and discus throwers come out of the blocks faster than a lot of sprinters. Like this guy. At some point in this vid it shows Brian Oldfield winning a race against a sprinter. Brian was the world record holder in the shot put til Randy Barnes came around.

that's it..i'm training like these guys..he dunked a 16+lb ball...won vs a sprinter...

just eat more than you eat now and you should gain weight.

yes, it's that easy!

thanks, but i was really just looking for counting. You know, If i think i've only gotten 80 grams of protein, and then i'd go get more :)

it's 1g per lb bw if you wanna gain muscle
1.5xbw for best increase/bulk

ok! what about the fat and carb intake? Should focusing on protein be main thing?

I have found some stuff saying take 1 gram of protein per lb of LEAN muscle mass daily.

So if I estimate my BF of 150lbs or so(idk accurate weight) to 185lbs. 5%BF at the most 180grams of protein a day for me.

180/6meals= 30grams a meal....

I Know there is a specific amount of fats, proteins, calories, carbohydrates..ect one is supposed to eat.

Something like, for every lb= 2grams or protein a day. So you could lower protein intake, or raise it depending on goals

I was wondering if anybody knew the exact amount of calories, proteins, fats, I should take to gain weight to 185lbs and maintain it?

what was your best 100m? atleast you didn't have to work from running 13 seconds  :'( I am pretty sure i'm running an 11something now, freshman year i ran 13 seconds last meet. Probably would have ran even slower earlier in the year.

agreed, which is a shame that so many high school kids focus solely on squat, bench, and maybe a little bit of conditoning. So much more goes into the game of football. If you are a skill guy, you should be out working on the intrinsics of your position, same with linemen.

A basketball player wouldnt simply spend a summer lifting weights, why would a football player?

that was sorta the point of my thread...
