Nice Lance links towards learning the hang powerclean and hang powersnatch. ;D :strong:

For me, regarding jumping with the ball, I jump HIGHER with the ball in hand off one leg but definitely lower with the ball in hand off two feet. One of the things I've found out, and Kelly hasn't mentioned, is the fact that with the ball in hand I tend to let the upperbody drop towards the ground quite a bit and basically throwing the center of gravity forward which compromises the jump.

i went to an "all white area today" to dunk, some indoor gym, 2 black dudes there like 30 white people.. black dudes were "trying to dunk", they couldnt even touch the rim.

just felt like sharing.

i jump best also up to 3-5mins after a pick up game. sprints/submax jumps.. its all there and it gets your blood flowing better when you're chasing somebody. you can try to mimic the "game" attitude on your drills but that's not as easy or fun or as the real thing.

Getting that head closer and closer to the rim aren't "we"?

Any ideas why has your vert "suddenly" increased? Any particular reason or just good ol' plain consistency?

Well when I did my squat sets last friday I wasn't bounding or doing any plyos (it was raining so I couldn't) and yet 6 reps was a lot to deal with. It doesn't make sense for the bar to feel as heavy on the back either.

UNLESS MY INJURY IS NOT 100% recovered from. I don't know. Could the KB swings take so much out of me? Just 3 sets of 10 every day? I mean wtf?

Truth be told, it kinda feels that way, but still.

360 x 5 = 405

dammit! 1RM calculators are surely underestimating my 1RM... I SUCK at repping out, that's probably why.
At 330 for 10x3 I maxed out 415...

How bout 365x5? I'm about to attempt it in a few hours. I think I'll get it on camera.

I think that's actually a good thing... sucking at repping out should mean you're mostly a fast-twitch guy so...

raptor for ur height ur stride seems to be pretty short...

Oh yeah I know, it's just my "natural" way of sprinting. I can't just think about it, I just unfold whatever I feel like, instinctively, to generate maximum speed.

And as long as I can remember, that's been very high frequency, low stride length. If I would think to increase the stride length I'd probably get desynchronized and mess the sprint up.
