If I were you, I'd just be trying to lose that fat before you start complicating things with deloads etc.

This^^^

Imagine how well you'd jump at say ~12% bodyfat, with your posture dramatically improved and your muscle firing much better (better glute involvement) due to the improved posture. Your whole body would move different.

Why aren't you filming some of this stuff like the cleans and squats?

He's probably still at 20% bodyfat and immensly quad dominant and slow. Some people never learn.

What's worse than Crossfit?

People who work out for the "beach" aka bench and curls. Crossfit at least has people squatting/deadlifting.

I can live with that as long as they don't take the squat rack for biceps curls. But these crossfit guys seem like a new age of retardedness altogether.

I think Crossfit might be one (if not THE) worst thing to ever happen to barbell/strength training sports.

how does the trampoline help? I've been on a few before and it feels very difficult to jump after being on one.

The silly thing is - we have the same exact plates at our track... no wonder since we have a lot of stuff from former USSR.

It's weird to see a guy so small naturally go off one leg considering the lack of leverage.

That's because that movement is not engrained and automatic. You need to improve the movement efficiency for that movement (more volume and or higher frequency).

Jump squats with 80% of 1RM, right?
