some random dribbling from tonight too, i need to stay consistent on this for at least 1 week so i can drop a cool video.. lol i barely dribble, eventually i could drop some really cool shit if i just stuck with it.. i got so many weird transitions/movements that people don't often see.. more like dancing with a ball... alot of room for improvement this is just some sub-optimal footage for the time being, just want to see how it looked, rendered.

Yo that hand switch at 1:13-1:14 was killer...lotta possibilities right after that move...wish you'd exploded forward and followed it up with a hesitation/crossover instead of pulling back lol...yo you gotta work those handles into your routine mayne, cuz you'll easily come up with some mind-blowing dribbles real soon

in regards to the synergy between piano/drums, it's funny because, they hadn't played together in YEEEEEEEARS.. so it's funny how they just came together one day and were able to play like that.

peace man

sensory-motor memory FTW!

I can't believe I overlooked this thread! I haven't really been exposed to much jazz, but the stuff I've heard has been awesome! The synergy between the piano and the drumset is amazing...kickass chords too! So your dad and his friends both composed AND performed this?

I personally think a lot of his humor is kinda cheap, but a lot of ppl like Russell Peters' racial/ethnic humor:

paginini was a kickass violinist man! props for the vid!

Paginini's "La Campanella", a movement from his 2nd violin concerto.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwmFcu6QAqI" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwmFcu6QAqI</a>

Franz Liszt's "La Campanella", from his set Grand Etudes de Paginini (an edited piano transcription of Paginini's original work)

Performed here by Yundi Li: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEnfZjqMSy0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEnfZjqMSy0</a>

I personally prefer Liszt's piano transcription, as it's a lot more complicated. However, Paginini's original violin version is pretty cool too.

Interesting study. I remember Kellyb mentioning that loads on jumping/bounding/sprinting movements should be such that they reduce height/distance covered/sprint times by no more than 10%. Do you think a 10-11% BM load would only elicit a <10% performance drop-off?

Far out, thanks dude. Know any good orthopedic practices that have a foot-and-ankle-focused surgeon on the team?
Nah, man. I'll keep my eyes open though.

Unfortunately, I only have an audio and still pics...but in order to provide "proof" that I'm actually the one in the vid, I've included a "review" http://www.cvnc.org/reviews/2004/may/RSOFuture.html from the classical voice of nc...I'm mentioned briefly in the 3rd to last paragraph; they misspell my name as Sreeniker Ram instead of Sreeniket Ram, lol...

It was back in 2004, when I was 16 and I still played bball, could dunk a tennis ball, and wasn't on anti-depressants lol...
