running 11 something from 13 seconds is pretty good! it takes a lot of work to lose a second...

Nice

Over the past few weeks, I've made it my daily goal to consume 8 whole eggs and 3oz of dark chocolate. I hit that goal about 5 days a week. I've had my suspicions about the ultra fast digesting whey proteins in the past (they're absorbed too fast; the body doesn't know what to do so it converts the proteins to sugar. Proteins don't do much good serving as sugar), and am forgoing having them now. I'm content with the slower digesting wheys and am even mixing them with even slower digesting casein containing cottage cheese post workout and...better sit down...even mixing in some fat. My post workout meal is more reminiscent of mother's milk (the stuff we were meant to grow on). Over the course of these past four weeks, I've been eating lower carbs in an effort to lose fat; muscle gain wasn't my current concern. I've added in the extra eggs, extra dark chocolate, and the change to the post workout meal (which is sometimes a breakfast, lunch, or pre workout meal, too). I've eaten less than maintenance, and gained muscle - while losing fat. I've never been more vascular.

Do you agree with this Adarq?

Not adarq, but 60% of any protein is going to be converted to glucose and cause a spike in insulin.. But I agree that regular whey is better than hydro whey. Either Lyle Mcdonald or Alan Aragon had a post about it but I can't find it.

Strength, Power, Reactivity, & Speed Discussion / Re: Bench Press
« on: March 07, 2011, 12:32:23 am »
this is total horseshit. you should do weighted dips for 3-5 reps total, superslow (e.g. 4s eccentric, 2s pause, 6s concentric). bench, ohp, db bench, all that shit will just waste your time. pretty much only superslow, very heavy weighted dips are the way to go.

that, and ATG squats.

Unfortunately for you you have neither skill nor athleticism.

Do the research if you want, but it's clear that heavy squatting releases the most growth hormones and testosterone levels in the body, which will help assist your upper body workouts to get you getting bigger and stronger faster.

lulz

That's as bro as bro science can get. If you "had to squat", explain chicken legs?

"Stupid Myths: A Full Range Of Motion Is Always Better"

The fact is that those who preach that you should always use a full range of motion have no idea what they are talking about!

I think Alex Maroko has a product out about ball handling. I'd check that out.

All

Even if they aren't all "used", why would you not want to be as strong as possible?

It's a school run by the mormons, what do you expect?

Although I guarantee every other player on the team is bagging bishes like groceries.
